After exiting the Elevator, I walked down a long corridor lined with several computers and some CL4P-TP units operating them. I also went past a Fast Travel machine however I kept going until I found myself in front of a large door.
It opened automatically and I marveled at the surprisingly large size of Jack's office. You know I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was even with the position at Hyperion that Jack currently held.
I looked around until I noticed Jack, Roland and Lilith already all stood by Jack's desk. I approached the trio and Jack noticed me looking around at his office as he asked "Like the office?"
I turned back to him before nodding "Yeah. It's much bigger than I expected, where are the others anyway?" Jack responded "Oh I sent them to go see if they can find Gladstone so that him and his buddies can disable the energy field preventing us from reaching the Eye of Helios."
I looked confused as I asked "Gladstone?" Jack answered "Yep. Some Hyperion tech-geek who helped us build our robot army. Actually quite a smart guy." I nodded before saying "I see." Soon the Vault Hunter group returned as Athena presented Jack with a strange object.
Jack applied the device and suddenly turned invisible before reappearing again as he said in wonder. "Cloaking device huh? Thanks doc." We heard the voice of someone whom I assume was one of the doctors saying "Still alive, thanks to you. Much obliged."
Jack began complimenting who I assumed was the team of scientists who had managed to disable to laser field. "No. YOU'RE great. You guys disabled the defenses leading to the big-ass laser."
He began to approach the nearby bookcase as he continued "Uh, we're gonna head off and shut it down. But first I'm gonna summon my personal escape ship to get you guys the hell out of here. Vault Hunters hit that button over there."
Aurelia pushed the button and the bookcase moved to reveal a glass window looking into a small room containing four men. We heard a voice saying "Airlock sealed! Preparing to vent contents of airlock."
I turned to Jack and asked "Jack what's happening? Who are these men?" Jack responded "This is Doctor Gladstone and his team. New plan everybody Doctor Gladstone here informed me that one of you might still be a traitor working for Zarpedon!" Gladstone's voice could be heard exclaiming "Might! I said might!"

Jack continued calmly "Hundreds of innocent lives are on the line kiddos, I just can't take the risk. Shoot me in the back once, shame on you, shoot me in the back twice? For what it's worth, I AM really sorry."
We heard Gladstone exclaim "Jack don't!" With that the airlock opened and three of the scientists were immediately sucked out into the vacuum of space. Gladstone however clung on for dear life before being hit by some flying debris and being crushed in the process, leaving a bloody smear on the glass.
