I didn't partake in the plan itself directly. That Vault Hunters followed each individual step Timothy came up with. Of course each step was completed with next to no trouble. However this started to go downhill.
Turns out we had a traitor among us. I'm sure you can already guess who it was instantly but in case you didn't know, it was Freddie. The tech whizz whom I knew seemed untrustworthy from the beginning.
Funnily enough he did as well because it wasn't long until I received an Echo from him taunting me about it. "Okay, so you know how you said you had your eye on me? Well now so does Pretty Boy and he won't let you harm a single hair on my head. SUCK IT!"
I growled a bit at his comment. I knew he kidnapped Timothy and handed him over to Pretty Boy so as soon as the Vault Hunters came back, Ember informed them that she had the thermite ready to get into Jack's tower.
Sure enough the death turrets from before were shut down so when we met up with Ember she instantly said "Come Vault Hunters. We will burn a path together." We fought our way through several Loaders guarding the tower.
Once they were all dealt with Ember handed Zane the thermite and instructed him to stick it to the blast door, which he did. Ember stated "The Thermite will take some time. We must survive this onslaught!"
More Loader bots appeared and while the thermite burned through the blast door we were able to sufficiently hold them off to the best of our ability. Eventually the thermite had done it's job and Ember said "We sure know how to make an entrance eh Vault Hunters? Now go, you artiste of chaos and flame! To the tower! Stop Pretty Boy, save Timothy."
She then explained that the thermite would have weakened the door so that we would be able to punch right through it like, and I quote, 'A diamond fist punching through a face made of daisies'.
Sure enough I gave the door one solid punch and it fell down with a bang. I turned to the Vault Hunters saying "Follow me." With that we entered the VIP tower where Pretty Boy awaited.
Straight away, Pretty Boy contacted us saying he was going to clean up the place now that he had the Winning Hand. Moxxi also informed us that the elevator to the main office was up ahead. We went through a large hallway until we arrived in some form of atrium.
We heard Pretty Boy yelling "Freddie ya magnificent bastard! Get down there and stop the fickin' Vault Hunters!" Freddie briefly responded by saying "On it!" He then addressed us "Look, killing you? It's nothing personal. But it's like I told ya, Bots? They're my buds! And I've got a LOT more friends now!"
I looked up and saw two unique Loader Bots descending from above. Stood on top of them was the traitor himself, Freddie. When the bots landed Freddie did the splits in between them before the bots RIPPED HIS PANTS OFF?! Wait what? He then flipped and clasped a shotgun tightly.
