Y/N Knoxx is the son of General Knoxx and Commandant Steele as well as a Colonel within the Crimson Lance military. What happens when he is sent with his mother to a planet called Pandora? I'm quite a fan of the Borderlands series especially the fir...
After the hijinks at the Handsome Jackpot, I decided now would be my time to retire. I had already been through too much in my short 30 years than others would see in their entire lifetime.
In my absence, my soldiers split up into two groups. The main body of them travelled to Promethea and found work with Rhys and the new Atlas Corporation, while a small number of them sought out work as members of the Crimson Raiders, which in Lilith's absence had fallen to Ava. Personally I thought that was a bad move but who was I to argue with Lilith given my track record of bad decisions.
Before I could disappear however there was one final matter to attend to first.
I got a Runner and drove to a location called Devil's Razor. Here there was a small settlement I had heard of known as Roland's Rest. I came here wishing to pay my respects to a fallen enemy who even though we were against one another, I still respected him more than most of my allies.
Arriving at the town I was met with a man who wore only his underwear. He also had shoes and a cape but other than that he looked really rugged. Yet regardless of his appearance he approached in a friendly voice.
"Hey welcome to Roland's Rest, name's Vaughn, please don't burn the place down."

I slowly got out of my Runner as the man whom I now knew as Vaughn exclaimed "Whoa! Your Y/N Knoxx! I've heard loads about you!" I sighed to myself "Not all of it good I presume. Don't worry. I'm not here to cause trouble, I'm here to pay my respects to Roland."
Vaughn answered "Oh you knew Roland? Never met him myself, the statues this way." He gestured for me to follow him as I did just that. It was a very short walk from where my Runner was parked to where the statue was located on a cliff side overlooking the Devil's Razor.
"Here's the statue, I'll leave you to it." With that Vaughn walked off leaving me alone with the statue. I sighed sadly as I began to speak.
"Hey Roland, bet you weren't expecting to see me again. Anyway, I just came to apologize, damn this is harder than I thought. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope your in a better place. And farewell."
I saluted the statue before saying "We'll meet again Vault Hunter." I knew they were literally my signature words at this point but this time they held a brand new meaning. Originally it meant I was eventually going to kill the Vault Hunters however this time I meant it to mean that we would meet again in whatever next life there was.
With those final words I left, I got back in my Runner and drove away from Roland's Rest. And that was the last time anyone would hear from Y/N Knoxx, I left four clues to my whereabouts scattered across Pandora at various locations. The Crimson Enclave, Old Haven, the Armory and the old Bio Dome. At each of these locations I left an Echo which provided clues to my location.
Maybe in the future a new generation of Vault Hunters would one day solve the puzzle and find me. But until then I won't reveal my location to anyone. It would remain my own special secret.
