The thought of who my mysterious attackers were still lingered on my mind, even after I returned to the Crimson Enclave. My only guess could be that they were more Vault Hunters that Handsome Jack had run afoul of and the fact that one was a Siren concerned me.
I knew that only six Sirens could exist as a time and so far that included, Lilith, Angel and whoever the girl from earlier was. I just hope I didn't encounter any more Sirens in my lifetime, guess I jinxed myself there.
Anyway as soon as I arrived back at the Crimson Enclave I knew I would have to recruit two new Royal Guards given that that Psycho managed to decapitate one and lodge his Buzz Axe in the other's chest.
The task was simple enough, I just recruited the two best-performing soldiers from any of the other divisions.
And now, with that business out of the way, I was sat once again in my office with my new Royal Guards behind me. All seemed relatively peaceful until I was contacted via Echo by Handsome Jack once again.
I didn't get to speak as Handsome Jack instantly began "Y/N! How are ya! Been a while huh? Anyway I've got a job for you!" I looked at him before asking "What job would that be?" A menacing grin spread across my boss's face as he responded "Roland has been captured by Bandits named the Bloodshots. Their leader wants to offer him as ransom to us but we're gonna go get him for free. By me of course I mean you."
I nodded asking "What's the plan?" Handsome Jack kept his grin as he responded "Your gonna lead the some of your Crimson Lance whatever's and have a talk with their leader, I'm sending a Constructor and loads of Loaders to go extract Roland."
I responded "It will be done sir." With that he signed off and I turned to my guards with a grin. "Assemble three teams, this will certainly be an interesting operation." The both didn't even need to respond as we walked out of the office.
Once all the men were assembled we all got into those Crimson Lance drop pods. I think everyone was excited to be given a proper assignment rather than just defending the Crimson Enclave from any attackers.
The pods were fired into the air as the Bloodshot Stronghold was targeted. The pods scattered around the top of the dam they were using as base as Hyperion moonshots fell at the same time.
The Bloodshots had no idea what hit them as both Hyperion Loaders and my own Crimson Lance soldiers emerged and began firing without mercy. I was still clutching the Sentinel's staff in my hand as I thrust it into the ground mowing down the Bandits in a violent purple shockwave.
We continued on my rampage until I found a room in which was the Bandit known as Flanksteak, the leader of the Bloodshots, this guy had quite the bounty on his head. When he saw me he asked "Are you with Hyperion? Okay, twenty bucks for Roland, final offer."

My response was simply "Handsome Jack doesn't negotiate with Bandit scum like you." Flanksteak began to protest "What? No-!" He didn't get to finish as I pulled out my pistol and shot him in the head, killing him instantly.
I smirked at his corpse saying "Pleasure doing business with you." I turned around and left back onto the ramparts of the dam where Loaders and Lance soldiers were killing away at the Bandits who, to be frank, didn't stand a chance in the slightest.
I then heard a loud revving noise followed by the sound of heavy gunfire. I saw several Loaders and Lance soldiers being shot down repetitively. When I looked at the source of the gunfire, I was surprised to see a short, fat man, brandishing two Vladaf assault rifles. I'm guessing this this guy was another of these new Vault Hunters like the ones from the other day.

I didn't want to get into a fight with a Vault Hunter just yet so I sent out a signal to all the Lance personnel and told them to retreat due to the presence of a Vault Hunter and besides I knew that they already had Roland as I noticed a Constructer with Roland trapped in a cage on the top.

With that reassuring knowledge, the Crimson Lance Reborn pulled out of the Bloodshot Stronghold, unaware that shortly after doing so the Vault Hunter killed that Constructer and saved Roland.
