Chapter 49: Y/N and Aurelia's Eden 6 Safari

Y/N POV

Me and Aurelia were currently sat in the lodge we retreated to when we knew the Vault Hunters were coming to the Estate. The two of us were currently sipping cups of tea, Aurelia seemed rather angered and I knew I could guess why

It didn't take us long to catch wind of the Vault Hunter's survival at the Jakobs Estate. I took this moment to rub it in a bit, you see the two of us had a bet. I knew from past experience with Vault Hunters that they would survive the ordeal, while Aurelia was adamant that Troy would succeed in killing them. Of course I turned out to be right.

However I eventually decided to lighten the mood a bit as it were. So, because of this I came up with a suggestion. "Hey remember when we were on Elpis and we would go off and hunt to wildlife?" Aurelia looked at me before asking "Yes. I do, what of it?"

I was kind of surprised she didn't jump to my intentions instantly given the Aurelia was already a known avid hunter. "Well. I'm sure that there are a few creatures around here we could hunt. Perhaps take your mind off the stress of finding the Vault Key fragments."

Aurelia looked at me for a moment before taking a sip of her tea and eventually speaking up "Yes, that could prove to be rather fun." I gave a humorous grin before saying "I had a feeling you'd like the idea, come on. I'll call us a technical at the Catch-a-Ride outside."

We both stood up from the comfy armchairs by the warm fire and made our way outside. As I said I went to the Catch-a-Ride and ordered a Bandit Technical. This way I knew the COV wouldn't disrupt our recreation time.

Naturally Aurelia wasn't all to fond of the mode of travel and to be honest neither was I but nevertheless, the pros outweighed the cons here. I think the both of us could agree our little hunting trip would be better without the COV mistaking us for Bandits.

Eventually we pulled up on a cliff face and got out of the technical. We went over to the edge as Aurelia pulled out her sniper named the Ice Queen.

She looked down the sights at something before muttering "Got you!" I asked "What is it? What do you see?" Aurelia simply handed the sniper to me before pointing where she was aiming before and saying "There."

I aimed the scope of the sniper and sure enough noticed some Tyrant Saurians. Saurians were relatively common creatures found on Eden 6 but these were Tyrant Saurians which were tougher than the regular standard lesser Saurian types.

I handed the Ice Queen back to Aurelia as she once again, aimed the barrel at one of the Tyrant Saurians before pulling the trigger. A loud gunshot sound went off before I saw one of the Saurian's head explode as it fell to the floor.

Aurelia exclaimed "Bullseye!" It was at this moment however we heard the noises of more Saurians. And to make matters worse, they were actually right behind us. Me and Aurelia turned around before nodding at one another.

I pulled out my pistol while Aurelia pulled out a Jakobs revolver. We shot our way through the Saurians with next to no effort however soon we were confronted by a Saurian which sported a different design to the others. Now if my knowledge of exotic creatures was correct, which it wasn't always, this was known as the Indotyrant.

Aurelia triumphantly commented "Now there's a worthy catch if I ever saw one." She then launched her ice shard at it while I deployed my old Scorpio turret. We didn't even need to shoot at it ourselves as it was killed from Aurelia's shard and my turret alone.

Once we killed the other Saurians as well, we weren't given much time to celebrate. As Aurelia received a contact on her Echo from a very distressed Bandit exclaiming "Lady Hammerlock!" Aurelia looked at it impatiently before rudely asking "What is it now?!"

The Bandit exclaimed "The Vault Thieves have mounted a resistance against you ma'am. We need back up." I turned to her before saying "What did I tell you about those Bandits. I will deal with this little mess. Go back to the Estate, I have a hunch the Vault Hunters will go there next."

Aurelia nodded as I knew those Vault Hunters wouldn't let up. It seems I would have to deal with them myself.

I apologize if it was bad, I actually made this chapter as part of a college assignment for my Creative Media course, I have to make a script and my teacher said I could alter an existing chapter into script form.
