Saturday. 9:30 am. My birthday.

I skipped breakfast today. I didn't want to go incase Draco was there and we saw each other. I feel like it would be awkward. I'm meeting him after lunch and I think I need to talk to Hermione about this but...I can't until I know for sure what's going on. I put on a red sweater and a pair of blue jeans and went down to the common room.
Harry-"There she is!" Harry said looking up from playing chess with Ron.
"Happy birthday Y/N!" They all shouted together. I'm 17 today. I don't feel any different.
Ron-"How did you sleep Y/N?"
Y/N-"Pretty good. It was the getting to sleep part that was hard." I couldn't stop thinking about Draco. Why am I feeling like this...I mean he's Malfoy. He's always just been Malfoy. I need some tea.
Ron-"That's good"
Y/N-"So who's winning?" I said changing the subject.
Ron-"I am" he said smiling.
Hermione-"Are you getting lunch with us? We have something to give you."
Y/N-"Me?" She shook her head yes. "But for what?"
Harry-"It's a surprise" he said with a big smile on his face. "Just promise you will be there."
Y/N-"Of course I'll be there. But I have to go into my room for a little while, I'll meet you guys there!"
Hermione-"Alright"
I headed upstairs and poured myself a cup of tea and sipped it. I thought I should make sure my notes where correct for the project so I sat down on my bed just when I hear laughter from outside. I look down and I see Draco and his team mates before they begin to start quidditch practice. I sat on my windowsill with my tea and look out. I see him with his scarf wrapped loosely around his neck. His grayish bluish eyes twinkle with the rays of sun beating off his face. It's chilly outside but the sun is just warm enough to feel comfortable. His muscular hands grip his broom. The wind picks up and whips his scarf right off of his neck causing him to chase it around. I can't help but laugh. They begin to play when he looks up and sees me in my window. I didn't look away or hide. I just looked back at him and he gave me a small smile. I gave one back and I watched them practice for a while but then it was lunch time. Cant wait to see what my surprise is.
