Chapter Twenty-Seven: The dark mark

I woke up around 9 am. Draco was still asleep and he looked so peaceful. I decided to go into the kitchen and make some breakfast. My hair was somewhat messy and I had huge red checkered pajama pants on and a white T-shirt. My house was pretty toasty this morning, thanks to the fireplace. I put on some tea and makes some eggs with toast. The food was still good, that being my parents had just recently left.
Draco-"Morning gorgeous" Draco said in a sleepy, raspy voice that drove me mad.
Y/N-"How did you sleep?" I said handing him some tea, he took a sip.
Draco-"Very well actually, you?"
Y/N-"Me as well. I made breakfast!"
Draco-"I see that! It smells delicious"
I placed his plate and mine at the table and watched him take a bite. "Mmm that's amazing!"
Y/N-"Don't lie Draco" I said smiling.
Draco-"I'm not, it's brilliant."
Y/N-"Thank you"
Draco-"You're welcome. So where exactly are your parents? Not that I'm complaining we have the house to ourselves." He winked at me and I chuckled.
Y/N-"My parents are Magizoologist so they are traveling at the moment." (in other words they study Magical creatures) "It's a shame I couldn't see them. My Older brother, Henry is a Dragonologist. (Studies dragons). He graduated from Hogwarts two years ago."
Draco-"So the animal gene runs in the family?"
Y/N-"I guess so"
Draco-"What about you? Does it peak your interest?" He said chewing his eggs.
Y/N-"I'm not sure really, I've never actually thought about it. I've never aspired to do something like that but I guess I'd enjoy it!"
Draco-"I think you'd be great at it"
Y/N-"You do?" I said smiling.
Draco-"Mhm definitely"
Y/N-"Thank you"
Draco-"Y/N do you mind if I take a shower?"
Y/N-"No not at all! Go ahead, there's towels in the white cupboard"
Draco-"Okay" he stood up and gave me a kiss and headed into the bathroom. I cleaned up and grabbed some fresh clothes from Henry's room and came into the bathroom. I heard Draco humming. As I set the clothes down for him I could see him scrubbing his chest through a gap between the shower curtain. I smiled and then he turned his left to me and I saw a strange mark on his left arm. That's a..no it can't be. Draco kept humming and I left quietly, confused.
I waited for him on the couch and he came out with a Jumper and bottoms on. He was still drying his hair with the towel and then wrapped it around his neck. He plopped down on the couch and laid his head in my lap. I put started to caress his hair as the Tele was on quietly. I could see him fixating on the show through the mirror actors the room.
Y/N-"Draco?"
Draco-"Hm?"
Y/N-"Can I ask you something?"
Draco-"Sure" I turned the show off and he sat up. I took a deep breath. "What is it darling?" he said as he quickly pushed my hair out of my face and smiled at me.
Y/N-"I...I saw your arm" his face dropped and I waited for a response. He put his head back in my lap.
Draco-"You weren't supposed to know."
I knew what it was. I mean I've never seen one before but I've heard about it.
Y/N-"You could have told me. I'd never judge you Draco."
Draco-"Everyone judges me for it."
Y/N-"I know that you were in the wrong place and the wrong time."
Draco-"I still am." He sat up again with tears starting to form. "That's my whole life Y/N. I'm always going to be in the wrong place. Except when I'm with you." The tears fell. I took his face in my hand and kissed his soft lips and wiped away the tears.
Y/N-"Why didn't I see it the night we..."
Draco-"Makeup"
Y/N-"Oh." I took his arm and pulled up his sleeve. I looked at the dark mark and traced it with my fingers. I saw some cuts around it. "Draco...?"
Draco-"I tried to get it off." He cried harder. I kissed his arm and his face. He laid on me.
Y/N-"You never have to feel ashamed with me."
Draco-"I know." We took a nap on the couch for a while. When we woke up it was around 3pm.
Y/N-"Morning sleepy head"
Draco-"It's nearly night time soon silly"
Y/N-"I know Im just having a laugh"
Draco-"Aren't you hilarious" I scrunched my nose at him and he laughed.
Y/N-"Let's listen to some music"
Draco-"Sure" I went and got some CDs and put one into the CD player.
'More than a feeling by Boston playing'
Draco-"What the bloody hell is this?"
Y/N-"You've never heard it before?"
Draco-"No..it's muggles music"
Y/N-"Yeah so? It's great music." He looked at me weird. "Come on. Up." I said gesturing him to come closer. He rolled his eyes. "For me?" I gave him a pouty face.
Draco-"Alright. Fine" he smiled and stood up. I took his hands and started dancing and he just stood there laughing at me.
Y/N-"Dance!!" He spun me around and started to dance with me.
Draco-"Where did you find this?"
Y/N-"Hermione" he lip synced "Oh" to me and pulled me into a hug. A slow song came on and he looked into my eyes deeply. We started making out he pushed me onto the couch, lips still on mine. He removed my shirt and started to kiss my body. You know what happened next ;). The rest of the day we spent watching movies and listening to music and well. You know.
