Chapter Thirty-Eight: The Real Story

Back to your POV.
We got to Harry's room and I went straight to the cloak.
Y/N-"Come on get under." Draco wrapped the cloak around himself and Y/N without hesitation.
Draco-"Where are we going?" Draco whispered.
Y/N-"The Great Hall."
Draco-"What...no that's where they all are. If we go there.."
Y/N-"I know okay...I know it's a risk but they are here because of me. They want me killed and someone died because of me so I have to. I have to get there with out anyone seeing me and I need to see my friends. Are you coming with me?"
Draco-"Of course I am. I'm not leaving your side ever I promise."
Y/N-"Good." We were standing at the door in front of the great hall...death eaters were guarding it.
Y/N-"We have to distract them."
Draco-"I'll do it"
Y/N-"What..but"
Draco-"Look it's the only way. They know who I am and they think I'm on their side. If I trick them into leaving, you can get in there."
Y/N-"Okay." I shook my head sternly. We walked around the corner and Draco slipped out running toward them."
Draco-"We've got her!!" He said to the death eaters. "She's just two floors up! They need us" They immediately ran and Draco stopped to look back to make sure I got in safely. When I entered the Great Hall everyone stopped and stared at the doorway; that being it opened 'On it's own'. I walked over to Harry and whispered in his ear.
Y/N-"It's me" his fidgeted. "I'm going to set the cloak over that statue over there. Just distract them." I walked over to a white large statue and stood on top of something to pull it all the way over. I stood behind it watching it disappear under the cloak.
Harry-"Clarisse. Why are you doing this. What's the point?" Everyone's attention was on him and her. She let out a laugh.
Clarisse-"Shut up boy."
Harry-"No you answer me now." He snapped at her.
Hermione-"Harry what are you doing..?" His eyes quickly looked to me to show her I was there. She opened her mouth for a second and returned back to oblivion. Harry walked up behind Charlotte and put a wand to her neck.
Harry-"Tell me now. Or I'll do it"
Ron-"Harry don't." He ignored Ron.
Harry-"Tell me!" Charlotte flinched.
Clarisse-"Okay okay." She took a very long pause that felt like a lifetime. "Y/Ns father. He killed my husband." Everyone gasped and I stood paralyzed. Draco and his parents walked in.
Y/N-"What are you talking about!" Everyone looked at me gasping because they didn't notice me before.
Clarisse-"Ahh. There you are"
Y/N-"Tell me what you mean." Harry's wand was still pressed up against her daughter's neck.
Clarisse-"Your daddy killed my husband you ungrateful little pest."
Draco-"Tell her the truth." Draco knew. But I'm guessing he didn't have the heart to tell me.
Clarisse-"You just heard it."
Draco-"Not all of it. Y/N look I'm sorry I didn't tell you before but I was too afraid of hurting you. Afraid of hurting us. I thought if I did that you wouldn't believe me." I have him a sympathetic smile and shook my head to tell him It was okay. "She's right your father did kill her husband but there's a reason why." Everyone was listening. "Y/N...Charlotte is your half sister." I felt ringing in my ears. Charlotte looked as shocked as I did.
Y/N-"I...I don't understand.. what-.." I couldn't even speak.
Draco-"Before Clarisse, your mother took Charlotte she lived with you and your family. But Clarisse and her husband wanted to take you..just like your parents took Charlotte. Clarisse's husband wanted her for his own and he wanted to kill you in front of them. So. Your dad protected you by killing him. I'm so so sorry." I was crying so much.
Y/N-"Does Henry know?...does my brother know!?"
Draco-"Yes. He knows. That's why he hates me and my family...he...he knew that we knew and he didn't want us telling you."
Clarisse-"Yes..that's why I'm here for you. You're the reason my husband is dead. And I'm going to kill you for him."
Hermione-"No!! No leave her alone." Harry and Ron were holding Hermione's hands. "You won't kill her. You won't touch her." At this point Hermione had completely forgotten about the cloak. Draco was standing far from Y/N pulled back by his parents and he struggled to get out of their hands but they wouldn't let him go.
Draco-"Get off of me!!"
Clarisse-"Is that so?" She turned to me. "Avada Kedavra!!!!"
Authors POV.
The spell had hit Y/N and she laid on the ground.
Draco-"NOOOO!" He got away from his parents and ran over to her. He bent down and held her in his arms tightly and tears fell down from his eyes. "No no no no" he shook her. "Please wake up. Wake up y/n I know you can hear me come on" Everyone was watching and they couldn't move. They were all so traumatized. Hermione fell to the ground when Harry whispered something into her ear and she was more relaxed. Lucius walked over to Draco and put a hand on his shoulder, making him flinch.
Lucius-"Draco...she's dead"
Draco-"No. No she's not! How dare you say that get off of me!" He pushed his Father's hand away and held Y/n even tighter. "I love you Y/n please wake up!!"
Charlotte-"You...you lied to me. You lied to me my entire life. I've spent all of my life hating her. Hating her family when they ARE my family. When really the one I hate..is you." Clarisse-"Darling don't worry everything will be okay. Soon enough we will be together happily."
Charlotte-"No, no way. You've treated me like shit my entire life. Because of you I'm like the way I am and you disgust me. I had a sister and you just killed her. How could you kill someone in front of me. I hate you. I'm never going to see you ever again." She raised her wand and pointed up at her mother.
Clarisse-"Charlotte...darling what are you doing?" Clarisse was sweating profusely and no one was stopping Charlotte from holding up her wand.
Charlotte-You're out of my life for good. Avada Kedavra!!" Clarisse slapped the floor and Charlotte walked over to Y/N and her friends. Charlotte-"It's over. It's all over."
Over time people left, including Charlotte. Draco was still on the ground with Y/N. Hagrid walked over with Harry Ron and Hermione.
Harry-"It's okay Y/N they are gone now." Draco looked confused. Y/N opened her eyes and smiled at them.
Draco-"wha..what the hell" y/n put her hand on his cheek. "You're alive !!" He hugged her so hard and she hugged him back and he was now crying tears of joy. "But what...what's going on how is that possible?"
*Entering flash back*
Ron-"They won't stop until she's dead." End scene and Carry's on until after.
Y/N-"So...let them kill me" they look at her weird.
Hermione-"What!! Noo!"
Y/N-"They have to think I'm dead."
Harry-"You're not doing that!"
Y/N-"but what if they think I'm dead?"
Hermione-"what are you talking about Y/N!?"
Y/N-"If they use a spell to kill me, something has to be in my way so it doesn't actually hit me."
Ron-"I don't understand"
Y/N-"We just have to put an object in front of me. A statue or something."
Hermione-"That's no good they will see it"
Y/N-"Not if we have something that can cover it." I looked to Harry and his face perks up.
Harry-"My invisibility cloak!!" I smile and nodded.
Hermione-"Of course!!"
Ron-"But will it work?"
Y/N-"it has to."
*Back to present time and your POV.*
After Harry pulled the cloak off of the statue and showed Draco.
Y/N-"I'm so sorry I did that to you but they had to believe it. They had to think I'm dead."
Draco-"It's okay. It's okay." He said and hugged me. "I love you"
Y/N-"I love you too" we stood up.
Hermione-"It's over now."
Hagrid-"You gave us a scare there Y/N" He said pointing at the Professors and the students in the doorway. He gave me a hug. And I hugged my friends and walked over to the other students to apologize for scaring them.
*Authors POV*
Draco-"Potter." Draco said with a warm face holding his hand out for Harry to shake. Harry smiled and shook his hand.
