Chapter twenty-two: The party

Authors POV. Next day. Afternoon, Owlrey:

Clarisse-"Breaking Draco and Y/N apart obviously didn't work. We need to try harder. I want you to get Pansy to throw a party when the Professors leave. Then at the party give Y/N the potion in some type of food or drink so it's not suspicious."
Charlotte-"What will it do?"
Clarisse-"It will make her act differently. Not like herself. Maybe Draco will hate her then. You said you think he likes how kind and caring she is?" Charlotte nodded her head yes. "Good. I expect you to do this."
Later in Slytherin common room:
Charlotte-"All the Professors hate us."
Pansy-"Ugh so what."
Charlotte-"Draco does too." Her head shoots up.
Pansy-"No he doesn't. Maybe you but not me."
Charlotte-"Are you sure about that"
Pansy-"Yes I'm sure."
Charlotte-"When was the last time you two...got together. Or even had a conversation for that matter?" Her mouth opens.
Pansy-"Bloody hell you're right! What should I do?"
Charlotte-"Well, we could have a party when the Professors leave? They go in an hour. Our year only. We could say it was your idea. Maybe you can get Draco alone."
Pansy-"Yes! That's perfect. Send out letters for me. The Yule ball is in a couple of days and I will be going with Draco." She smiled. My plan will work.
Y/Ns POV.
I was sitting in the common with my friends when we got a letter. It was from Pansy, telling us to come to a party. Harry left with the Professors with his cloak to gather information, he was still acting weird around me.
Hermione-"A party...at Slytherin house?"
Ron-"There's no way I'm going there."
Hermione-"That's really immature of them. Just because the Professors are gone, they think they can break the rules."
Y/N-"Maybe we should go?" I said, ready for them to spit back at me.
Ron-"Have you gone completely mental Y/N!? We could into trouble."
Y/N-"Don't you find it strange that they are doing this?"
Ron-"Well, a bit yeah but still"
Y/N-"Please. What if something is up."
Hermione-"Well I suppose it could be a way to spy on Charlotte."
Ron-"Hermione no!"
Y/N-"We are definitely going." I got ready and wore blue jeans with a plain grey short sleeve shirt leaving my hair down and curly. We head into Slytherin.
Hermione-"Y/N go talk to Draco. We are gonna look around for any clues."
Y/N-"Okay" I walked over to him. "Hey!"
Draco-"Hi I didn't think you'd come!"
Y/N-"Well you're here aren't you?"
Draco-"Yeah."
Y/N-"Then of course I came" he smiled at me and took my hand.
Draco-"Wanna see my room?" It never occurred to me that I'd never seen his room before.
Y/N-"Sure " I have him a smile. it was exactly as I expected. Dark and lived in. But comforting in a way. "I love it, it fits you well."
Draco-"Yeah? How's that?"
Y/N-"I can't describe Draco, it's just...perfect"
Draco-"Thank you. Are you hungry?"
Y/N-"Not really"
Draco-"Thirsty?"
Y/N-"A bit"
Draco-"Okay, let's go get you a drink. You look gorgeous by the way"
Y/N-"Shut up" I said blushing and he teased me buy poking my side.
Draco-"Lemonade?"
Y/N-"Okay" he handed me a cup and I took a sip. "I'm going to use the bathroom"
Draco-"Alright" I set down my drink.
Authors POV.
When Y/N left her drink, Charlotte dropped a small dose of potion into her cup"

I came back and finished my drink and sat on the couch next to Draco and his friend. I sat there quietly observing everyone while he talked to his friends. I was somewhat jealous that he was ignoring me but when he noticed me just sitting there looking bored, he put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. After a while his friends had got up to do their own things and I started to feel really funny.
Draco-"Would you like to go back into my room?"
He asked me and I couldn't stop laughing. "What's funny?" I looked at him and laughed again. "Seriously what is it? Do I have something on my face?" He whipped his face with his hands.
Y/N-"No. Let's go" I grabbed his hand and led him up to his room and pushed him on the bed.
Draco-"What's with you Y/N!" He chuckled and looked at me all confused. I smashed my lips onto his and he kissed me back with some hesitation.
Dracos POV.
She's acting so weird. One minute she's herself and the next she's acting like a dog In heat, I'm so confused. She stopped kissing me and started undoing my belt and I sat up and grabbed her hands.
Draco-"Woahh Y/N.." I paused and she looked at me. "What...uh what are you doing?" I chucked, trying to laugh it off.
Y/N-"What does it look like?" She tried at my belt again. This isn't her. She wouldn't act like this, especially it being her first time.
Draco-"Okay stop.."
Y/N-"You...you don't want me?" Tears filled in her eyes.
Draco-"I do...but you're acting so different"
Y/N-"I thought you loved me" tears fell from her face.
Draco-"I do, Y/N I do I love you a lot. But it's just not the right time for you"
Y/N-"How would you know?!" I didn't know what to say. "Fine!" She left the room and I thought I should give her space so I sat on the common room couch until she cooled down.

I don't know why I'm feeling like this. All of my emotions are so strong.
Random Slytherin-"Yesss the hootch, hand over the bottle" I grabbed it from her and started pouring it into my cup and chugged it profusely. I don't remember anything else from then on.
Authors POV.
Draco is sitting on the couch with his friends when Y/N comes down from the top.
Y/N-"Draco malm..foy!! ...Draco! *hiccups* where are *hiccups* you!!!" She's looking around the room bumping into things and slurring all of her words, Draco looks up at her.
Draco-"Oh god."
Y/N-"Draco where are you!?" She trips on a table leg and falls. "Stupid fu**ing furniture ow. *Hiccups*. Who the hells idea was it so put this damn table on the..on the...right there.?"
Draco stands up and walks over you Y/N.
Draco-"Y/N.." he bends down.
Y/N-"Heyy it's Malfoy!! I found him guys it's okay."
Ron-"Bloody hell."
Harry-"What is she doing!?" Hermione looks at them and shakes her head with concern.
Draco-"Y/N what are you doing?"
Y/N-"Well I..I was looking for you but then you dipsa...dispapeard * hiccups*."
Draco-"Right, come on." He picks her up and she leans on him while he walks her up to his room.
Y/N-"You know what mfff"
Draco-"What?"
Y/N-"I lobve you"
Draco-"I know you do."
Y/N-"Like so much like you know how much? Like this much." She let go and showed him with her arms when she fell and he caught her half way onto the bed. She started laughing uncontrollably.
Draco-"Yeah I know, I love you too. Come on sit down here" he sat her on the bed.
Y/N-"Ughgh. I don't feel good." She groans.
Draco-"Do you want some water"
Y/N-"Hand me the bin Draco." She flings her arm pointing at the trash can almost hitting him in the face with her hand. He picked up the garbage and she puked in it as he held her hair back. "Ughhhhhgh"
Draco-"I know I know." He grabbed a glass of water from his table and handed it to her. "Drink this" she grabbed the glass but her grip was too lose so he had to hold it with her while she drank.
Y/N-"I— gonna lay down" Draco laid down with Y/N and she rested her head on him.
Draco-"What am I going to do with you."
Y/N-"Read to me Draco" She mumbles. He took out a book as she pushed her head farther into his chest and he read for a bit. Draco started to feel tired as well and Y/N fell asleep within seconds so he to closed his eyes and just stroked her hair.
Harry-"It's getting really late we should find Y/N and leave before the Professors get back."
Hermione-"I'll go look for her." Hermione looked into Dracos room and saw Y/N laying on his chest. His eyes were closed but he was running his fingers through her hair. Hermione was curious. She felt comforted with the fact that he was treating her so kindly. This is the first she's ever properly seen them together and she didn't expect to feel warm about it.
*knocks on door*
Hermione-"Hey.."
Draco opens his eyes but doesn't stop playing with Y/Ns hair.
Draco-"Granger?"
Hermione-"It's getting late. We need to take her back to Gryffindor now."
Draco-"Yeah..I'll carry her back."
Hermione-"Alright." Y/Ns friends waited for her to arrive when Draco carried her back to Gryffindor common room. He set her on her bed gently, removed her shoes and covered her with the blanket.
Hermione-"I'll go get her a glass of water."
Draco-"Okay" He looked at her with her hair over her face. He moved it out of her face and placed it behind her ear. "Look who you've made me become Y/L/N." He chuckles.
Hermione-"Here it is" she set it on her bedside table.
Draco-"I'll leave now. Night" Y/N grabbed his hand.
Y/N-"Stay Draco." He smiled and took her hand.
Draco-"I can't darling, I don't want to get you into trouble. I wish I could though."
Y/N-"Okay" she says under her breath. Eyes still closed.
Draco-"Goodnight love." He kissed her forehead and left.
