Chapter twenty-eight: Henry and the Mouse

The next couple of days of Christmas break, Draco and I just spent time together. Getting to know each other more and more. We were in the second week of break and I didn't want it to end. It was snowing so much outside but the fireplace was doing well to keep us warm. Draco had his friends bring him some clothes, his father was trying to send him letters but he put a blocking spell on us both so no one could find us. Hermione wrote to me, and so did Ron and Harry, updating me on things. It was just passed lunch and Draco and I sat on the Couch cuddling while he finished the book he was reading to me. He closed the book.
Y/N-"I liked that one"
Draco-"Me too" He still hasn't told me what upset him so much at his family dinner.
Y/N-"Music?"
Draco-"Sure I'll get it, where is it?"
Y/N-"My room at the end of the bed, brown chest."
Draco-"Okay."
Dracos POV.
I walked into her room and looked through the CDs. I never want to leave this place. Never want to leave her. I still haven't found a way to tell her what happened. I have to.

Y/N-"Did you get it!" I shouted.
Draco-"Yeah im coming." I poured myself some more tea and smiled at the fire when the door swung open. It was my brother Henry.
Y/N-"Henry!!!" I stood up. "What are you doing home" I swung my arms around him.
Henry-"Hey mouse how are you? Happy late Christmas"
Y/N-"I don't even know what to say!! What are you doing back?"
Henry-"To see you of course. They let me come back because we finished something early...how've you been?"
Y/N-"I..-"
Draco-"I hope I got the right one" Draco said still looking down at the CD. Henry's face was still. I looked at them and Draco looked up surprised.
Y/N-"Uhm...Henry, you know Draco Mal-"
Henry-"Malfoy." Draco just stood there. It was incredibly awkward.
Y/N-"Yeah" Henry was turning pale.
Henry-"What is he doing here Y/N." He barely ever called me by my first name.
Y/N-"Well...he's my boyfriend."
Henry-"No. stop."
Y/N-"No it's true."
Henry-"This is a joke..tell me you're just taking the piss.."(joking)
Y/N-"It's not a joke. I love him Henry." Henry took a step closer toward Draco and I walked over in front of him, taking his hand.
Henry-"You know who he is Y/N."
Y/N-"Yes but-"
Henry-"He almost made our family poor. He could have ruined our lives." Draco looked at me funny.
Y/N-"No, Draco's not his father. It wasn't him it's not his fault. Draco didn't even know about it."
Draco-"Look maybe I should just go."
Y/N-"No-"
Draco-"Y/N.." he looked at me with acceptance. Henry didn't say anything he just stood there with rage.
Draco-"I'll see you back at the castle." I shook my head slightly. Draco left and I was ready for Henry to unleash his rath on me but instead, he was quiet. He shook his head and just walked into his room. Henry doesn't do well with silence, for him to act like this was huge. I plopped onto the couch and exhaled sharply. Shit.
Draco's POV.
I didn't even know what to say. I didn't know Henry or anything about him. I certainly didn't know he'd be coming home. I knew I was going to cause problems by staying there so I left. As soon as I got to the castle my father saw me. Before I knew it I was back at Malfoy Manor with my family and Clarisse Clermont was there.
Clarisse-"Lucius. I understand you want Draco to kill Y/N?"
Lucius-"Yes, that's correct." I felt like bursting into tears right there in front of everyone.
Clarisse-"No no. He won't be doing that Lucius. I want to." I looked up and felt an instant weight lift off of me. But as soon as the thought of someone else hurting her hit me, and it came down ten times heavier. There was a lot more conversation going on but I was so in between my thoughts I didn't even listen.
Lucius-"Why would I let you?"
Clarisse-"If you let me, I will leave you all alone. No more deals and betrayal"
Narcissa-"Out of our lives forever?"
Clarisse-"Precisely"
Narcissa-"Lucius?"
Lucius-"Fine. Draco leave now. I will talk with you later."  I didn't say anything I just left and went to my dorm. As soon as I got into my room I sat on my bed and went to sleep with tears in my eyes.
Back to your POV.
It was almost time for dinner and Henry didn't come out of his room once. I made something for us to eat and when it was all prepared I walked down the hall quietly and pressed my head up against his door. I could hear music, non-muggles music, playing quietly from his radio. I knocked on his door gently. No response.
Y/N-"Henry, can I come in?" It felt like forever before he said anything.
Henry-"I guess so"
Y/N-"I made dinner..are you coming out?"
Henry-"I'll be there in a minute"
Y/N-"Okay" I walked out and sat at the table, waiting for him. I hope he doesn't hate me. He came out and sat down across from me.
Henry-"It looks good."
Y/N-"Henry please talk to me." I said knowing he'd want to forget about it. But I can't forget about it, Draco's my boyfriend and Henry is my brother. They are both in my life whether he likes it or not.
Henry-"There's nothing to say"
Y/N-"But there is! I want to hear your thoughts"
Henry-"No you don't." He chuckled.
Y/N-"Please." I persisted.
Henry-"Fine. I don't like him okay? I've never liked the Malfoys and neither have you."
Y/N-"I don't like his family, only him. He's not like them, he doesn't want to be like them, he..he's scared"
Henry-"He's a death eater Y/N." Still calling me by my name.
Y/N-"He didn't choose his life. It was chosen for him. He's changing."
Henry-"Look I'm not Dad. I can't control what you do or who you associated with...but don't think it's a good idea in the slightest. He's a Malfoy and he always will be. His parents are terrible people and the last time I saw you, you thought Draco was just as bad."
Y/N-"But-"
Henry-"He may be working with 'you know who'. Doesn't that scare you? Especially with Harry as your friend?"
Y/N-"Yes of course, but I love him and you can't stop me from seeing him. He protects me and no one is going to hurt Harry."
Henry-"Fine. Well, we've talked about it. Now let's drop it." We continued to eat and didn't talk that much for the rest of the night.
