I wanted to see Draco before dinner so I went to see him early. I didn't think about it until I was just a few feet away from the Slytherin house and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm petrified to go in there. What if they all pick on me for what happened. What if Pansy and Charlotte are there and taunt me.
Draco-"hello lovely, what a surprise" I jumped.
Y/N-"Hi Draco." Thank god. I didn't wanna walk in alone.
Draco-"Are you feeling better?"
Y/N-"Slightly. I'm really exhausted."
Draco-"Let's go in then. You can lay down on my bed." We went into his room and I looked outside and it was still light out but the sun would be setting soon, it was four pm, just an hour before dinner starts. I plopped on his bed and inhaled deeply, his bed smelled like him. It smelled so good and it made me tingle all over. His scent filled my nose as I tried to relax. Man just the smell of him makes me blush like a moron. He sat down next to me.
Draco-"Would you like me to read to you?
Y/N-"Yes please" He opened a book and started to read it a loud. His voice was so soothing and he caressed my arm softly. I could feel myself drifting away from his voice and fell asleep.
Dracos POV.
I read to her for a short while but she slowly fell asleep. Id read this specific book many times before but never to anyone. I'm glad I shared it with someone I can trust. I read the next couple of chapters and woke up some time later with the book open on the ground. I looked at the time. It's 9:40 pm. I shook Y/N lightly to wake her. Draco-"Y/N..? Wake up darling"
Y/N-"what. What time is it?" She says sitting up.
Draco-"It's nearly 10"
Y/N-"Oh no!! I missed dinner, I was supposed to meet up with my friends!!! I should head back"
Draco-"Do You want me to walk you?"
Y/N-"I'd love that but you'd be late. I will see you tomorrow for breakfast. I love you"
Draco-"I love you too Sunshine"
Dracos POV.
I have to ask her or it will be too late.
Draco-"Y/N?"
Y/N-"Yeah?" I stood up and grabbed her by the waste with both of my hands and pulled her closer to me.
Draco-"Will you please go to the Yule ball with me?" Her face lit up.
Y/N-"Took you long enough you knobber" she giggled. "Of course I will go with you Draco"
Draco-"Good I'm glad. Now go or you'll be late" I gave her a kiss and she left.
