Chapter Twenty-Five: The Yule Ball

I went back to my dorm and it was silent. Thank god I don't have to be scolded by Hermione. I walk into my room and it was pitch black.
Y/N-"Lumos" my wand lit up and I jumped a mile in the air and yelled. Hermione was sitting on my bed looking at me, with disappointment.
Y/N-"Blimey Hermione you nearly killed me!" She didn't say a word. "What's with you?"
Hermione-"You were supposed to meet us for dinner Y/N.." she sat there staring into my soul.
Y/N-"I know I'm so sorry, I was just with Draco and I fell asleep I didn't mean too, honest."
Hermione-"Well I guess we have to talk now then...let's go wake the boys". We walked into Ron and Harry's room and woke them up.
Ron-"What's going on?"
Hermione-"Wake up...Harry come on" they followed us into the common room.
Ron-"I just fell asleep"
Harry-"Is everything alright? Y/N where were you?"
Y/N-"Well...."
Harry-"Forget it I already know" his face fell. I didn't want to hurt Harry but I just wish he'd get over me. He's been so great with all of this, I appreciate him so much.
Y/N-"Harry please don't be mad"
Harry-"I'm not."
Hermione-"Tell her what happened when you left"
Authors POV.
(Fred and George are listening)
Back to your POV.
Harry-"Well they never got onto the train"
Y/N-"What!?"
Harry-"They were all at Hagrids" 
Y/N-"Why Hagrids?"
Harry-"Y/N...this is really serious, they said that they heard Clarisse is willing to kill.."
Y/N-"That sounds like rubbish to me."
Hermione-"You, Y/N...she wants to kill you." My heart dropped into my stomach. What's going on. I was speechless.
Ron-"We aren't going to let that happen!" Ron noticed I was upset. Obviously. And put his arm around my shoulder.
Ron-"She said she won't stop sabotaging and taking things until you're....dead."
Y/N-"So...let them kill me" they look at me weird.
Hermione-"What! Are you mad?!"
Fred & George-"What's going on here?" We jumped as Fred and George walked in. (This scene will be continued later on in the story!)

Today is the day of the Yule ball. I already have my dress, it's dark green and silky. I sent Draco a letter of what color it is so his tie can match. Ron's asked Hermione and Harry is going with Ginny. I think they'd be cute together. I told Hermione that he's asked me earlier today when I got the dress, she was happy for me. I wasn't going to ruin tonight and tell Draco about me being a target.
Hermione-"Hey!! Are you almost ready?"
Y/N-"Zip me up?" I had my hair and makeup all done. Clear shiny lip gloss and my hair curly with a half up design. I put shiny powder on my collar bones to look flattering.
Hermione-"Yeah!!" She zipped up my dress. "You look gorgeous"
Y/N-"So do you" she had a blue dress on, just as stunning as me..if not more. We were about to walk in when I felt nauseous. "I'm going to be sick."
Hermione-"You're just nervous, Y/N you will be okay once we get down there, do you want me to walk in with you?"
Y/N-"Uhh...no that's okay you go. I need a minute"
Hermione-"Okay!" She hugged me and walked in. I peaked out and looked at everyone at the bottom of the stairs. I didn't see Draco yet but i was terrified. What if people think I look weird. Music was playing which helped my anxiety.
Cedric-"Y/N!! Hi"
Y/N-"Hey Cedric" I said with a shaky voice.
Cedric-"Is everything okay?" Cho walked up beside him.
Y/N-"Yeah I'm okay, Hi Cho"
Cho-"Hey, your dress is amazing!"
Y/N-"Thanks, you too"
Cedric-"We'll see you in there?" Chos friends walked up and talked to her and he whispered to me "Just breathe" I shook my head as a thanks and they headed down. I inhaled sharply and slowly walked to the top of the staircase.
Dracos POV.
I walked down to the bottom of the stair case to wait for her. I feel like I'm sweating. I've never done anything like this before, certainly not with someone I'm In love with. Crabbe, Blaise, and I were talking when something behind me caught their attention. I turned around to look along with them and there was Y/N. Standing at the top, looking around. She looked like a princess. When she saw me her head stopped and we met eyes, she gave me a smile and started to walk down.
Your POV.
There he is. As soon as I saw him I walked down the steps carefully, making sure not to trip. As I got closer to him he walked up to me and held out his hand for me to take and I took it.
Draco-"Hi"
Y/N-"Hi." I said blushing.
Draco-"You look so beautiful"
Y/N-"You really think so?"
Draco-"I know so"
Y/N-"You look wonderful too"
Draco-"Not as good as you" he kissed me on the cheek. "Come over here, I have something for you."
Y/N-"Okay" he took my hand I followed him over near a table. He picked up a little box and handed it to me.
Draco-"Open it" he said with a huge smile.
Y/N-"Okay" I took the lid off and there lay two silver snake earrings with green jewel eyes. They shined so bright and they were gorgeous. They must have costed a fortune with their quality.
Y/N-"Draco..."
Draco-"You don't have to wear them, but I thought having a little bit of me with you would be nice. They also happen to go with the dress."
Y/N-"No, I wanna wear them. They are so pretty I love it thank you." I gave him a kiss and put them on.
Draco-"You make them look even better"
Y/N-"Ohhh stop" I said blushing even harder and looking at the ground. I wasn't so nervous anymore. He grabbed my waist with one arm and kissed me for a while.
Draco-"Would you like to dance?"
Y/N-"Yes please. And no lemonade this time!"
Draco-"Definitely not." He chuckled. Music played and we danced for a while, then we went on our own for a couple dances just to talk to friends and meet up later.
Hermione and I went to the bathroom to talk.
Other people were in there. Some girls were crying, some laughing, some even straight pissed (Drunk).
Y/N-"So!! How are things with Ron?"
Hermione-"Really great" she smiled at me.
Y/N-"Good I'm so glad."
Hermione-"I Think I love him."
I smiled.
Y/N-"I'm so glad both of us are happy. All of us are happy. I hope Harry is having fun."
Hermione-"Y/N you mustn't worry about him, he and Ginny are having a really nice time."
Y/N-"Oh, well good that's good."
Hermione-"Something wrong?"
Y/N-"I just don't want him to hate me or anything . I hope he's not too upset, that's all."
Hermione-"He's just fine, let's go back out before Ron eats the entire food bar"
Y/N-"Yeah" we laughed and walked out. I talked with my friends for a while when a slow dance came on and they all danced with their dates. I looked around for Draco but I didn't see him. Soon after, I saw him coming out of the men's and he was covering his left arm sleeve.
Y/N-"There you are" I said.
Draco-"Here I am."
Y/N-"Is everything alright?"
Draco-"Of course, why wouldn't it be?"
Y/N-"No reason... what were you doing?"
Draco-"I was using the toilet Y/N would you like me to get my bathroom stall buddy and vouch for me?" He said sarcastically.
Y/N-"No, no of course not."
Draco-"Dance with me?" I nodded and he took my waist. We hugged while we swayed to the slow song and I closed my eyes with just a picture of him in my mind. This night is perfect.
After the song ended we walked outside to take a breath and saw steamy wagons. We looked at each other and laughed. He looked around to make sure no one saw us and he pulled his broomstick out from a bush.
Draco-"Wanna go for a ride?"
Y/N-"It will mess up my hair"
Draco-"I'll go slow don't worry"
Y/N-"Right then sure." I swung my leg over, held his waist tightly and we took off. "Where are we going?"
Draco-"You'll see"
Y/N-"Another one of your surprises?"
Draco-"Oh come on. You love my surprises"
Y/N-"Yeah if there's something that doesn't involve trouble" I put my head on his shoulder.
Draco-"Close your eyes"
Y/N-"Are you mental!? No way!"
Draco-"Do you trust me?"
Y/N-"Yes, I trust you Draco"
Draco-"Then, close your eyes" I did and I felt him lower his broom somewhere and my feet where on the ground.
Y/N-"Can I open them yet.?"
Draco-"Wait..okay now" I opened my eyes to what looked like an old tree house with a huge hole in the top making visual room for the stars. I looked down and saw a blanket and candles.
Y/N-"This is so nice Draco!"
Draco-"I knew you'd like it"
I looked out and noticed we were in the forbidden forest but I didn't say anything, I knew I was safe with him.
Authors POV.
Draco-"Come sit" he sat on the floor and looked up at her, she sat down.
Y/N-"Look how beautiful the starts are" she said looking at the sky, admiring how shining and bright it was.
Draco-"So beautiful" said Draco, not talking about the stars but still looking at Y/N as her eyes danced around the sky. She looked down and he kissed her.
Back to your POV.
He kissed me passionately and he was now on top of me as I lay back letting his lips take control of me. He paused.
Draco-"Y/N will you please be my girlfriend" I couldn't think of a better answer.
Y/N-"Yes, I'd love to" we continued to kiss and he removed his shirt. He unzipped my dressed and removed it slowly.
Draco-"Is this okay with you?"
Y/N-"Yes" I love that he asked. I'm not scared, I'm comfortable and I'm ready for this. Soon we had all of our clothes off and he kissed all over my body admiring me.
Draco-"You're perfect" I smiled and kissed his chest. You can imagine where it went from there. Time went by and he walked me back to my room.
Draco-"I hope you had a good time because I definitely did."
Y/N-"I definitely did too" he kissed me, said goodnight and I went to bed.
