Charles decided to make a post for Instagram using the pictures Kym sent over to him. What he said in the caption made my heart swell "Finally I got the girl. I've know Mon Ange for 10 years and loved her for at least 8 already and after confessing my feelings we are officially together and I couldn't be happier" I saw quite a few comments from the other drivers congratulating Charles and a few fan accounts being negative but I ignored those comments. I checked my watch and saw it was time to go get Lando for the pre race interviews.

I had stopped by last night to officially tell him about me a Charles. He seemed happy for us but his facial expression didn't always fit the words. I explained that we were giving it a go and I'm hoping my feelings will continue to grow. I knock on Lando's door and see Amelie standing in the doorway "sorry we got a bit distracted this morning" she giggles and I want to throw up. I quickly nod as Lando walks up to us "see you in a few" he says to Amelie and kisses her. I look away as my heart can't take it, I know I'm with Charles but I still don't want their relationship rubbed in my face.

We are walking through the paddock together when he speaks up "I am really happy for you and Charles" I smile at him "he makes me really happy Lando" he looks at me "I can't ask for anything more than that, let's hope race day goes well for us" I nod "I know it will I just have a feeling"

Once all of the interviews are finished we head to the garage to set up for the race. I see Jon and head over "hey Jon" he smiles at me "hey Mols, could you please set up Lando's race gear ready? I'm just gonna give him his pre race massage and stretch" I nod and head towards the drivers rooms. Carlos is boxing with Rupert when I walk past and both stop to wish me good morning. Once I've laid out all of Lando's items I head back to the garage and speak to Jarv "morning Jarv, I'm feeling a podium today" he laughs "I'm living for your positive energy but we will need a shock race for that to happen" I just feel that today is going to be a good day. Lando appears on my left "hey guys ready to get racing?" Me and Jarv both nod as he gets in the car.

We are currently Halfway through the race and Lando is holding 4th position and everyone is on the edge of their seats. 15 laps from the end we find out Hamilton has a 5 second time penalty and is currently running third "okay Lando we need to push mate, keep up with the leaders" I hear through my headphones "confirmed" is all he responds. We are down to the last 2 laps and Lando is 7 seconds behind Lewis "scenario 7 please Lando" it's tense in the garage as Jarv keeps firing instructions at Lando on the last lap "press and hold overtake 10 seconds" we see the gap to Lewis closing almost at 5 seconds "push overtake till the end" we all watch as the chequered flag comes into view and we see that Lando was behind "4.72" seconds "I think that's a podium mate" it's quiet before Lando goes "yeeeeaaaaaaaaah booooooooooooooys" and the whole garage erupts into celebrations for a 3rd position finish! The feeling is incredible, I look to see the final positions and notice Charles got p2 and I feel even more proud. Jarv comes over "I suggest you head to the podium! I know not only Lando will want to see you there" he winks and I hurry out of the garage just in time to see Lando step on the podium I cheer so loudly and he spots me and waves! Then Charles appears and I cheer even louder if possible and he also sees me and blows me a kiss. Once they are all on the podium they receive their trophies and head to the cool down room again. I'm heading in to get Lando for his post race interviews, I get grabbed by the waist and I spin to see Charles grinning at me "congratulations Charles I'm so proud of you" I say he kisses me and lets me go.

I spot Lando waiting and pretty much launch myself at him "YOUR FIRST PODIUM IN F1" I shout "I AM BEYOND PROUD OF YOU!" He is grinning at me as I calm down slightly "I know you said you felt a podium coming today, it's your belief in me that has got me this far!" I smile at him and take him to the interviews I stand to the side as Martin Brundle starts speaking and I clock my name being said "this podium is dedicated to my best friend and PR manager Molly, she always supports me even if it's a bad race she finds positives. She has never stopped believing in me so this one is for her" he turns and smiles at me and I can't help my grin back. Once the interviews are over we head back to the garage to celebrate!

Andreas calls me over "anything you want to tell me about you and Leclerc?" I gulp "sorry I didn't know he was posting that till it was up I was going to speak to you first. He is happy to sign anything necessary and I wanted you to know that I am loyal to McLaren and Lando first and always" Andreas smiles at me "I wanted to congratulate you, I haven't seen a change in your work ethic so I'm happy for you" I was surprised "although if you can get some information about that Ferrari set up" he winks at me as he walks away.

We all pose for Lando's podium pictures at the garage and his team and me go to make the handstand photo he does every race. He posts these on Instagram with this lovely caption "it's a team effort in F1 and I think I have the best team. This one is for all of you but especially for @mollylanesF1 who never stops believing in me" my heart swells that he really recognises my support. I'm stood chatting with Charlotte and Helen when I get a phone call I see it's Charles I answer and he sounds breathless "mon amour, I wanted to celebrate with you but I understand how important this day is for you and your team" I sigh "I'm sorry I couldn't be there" he laughs "it's okay as long as you stay with me and we can celebrate our own way?" I can practically hear his smirk, I blush "meet me in the paddock in 15?" He agrees and I go to find Lando to say goodbye. He is stood off to the side with Amelie and it's seems they are arguing I overhear her say "how could you dedicate your win to her? I thought I was your girlfriend Lando" she crosses her arms "for goodness sake Amelie, she is my day one, the reason I'm in this position is her support and I knew I would always dedicate my first podium to her" Amelie rolls her eyes "I don't like how close you are, I don't think you should live together either and I'm sure Charles isn't happy about it" this is when I decide to interrupt "I don't think mine and Charles' relationship is any of your business but to let you know he gets it as he is part of our friendship group as well!" She rolls her eyes at me "I think you should go and leave us to finish our conversation" I huff "I had just came to say goodbye to Lando" I give him a hug and whisper "don't let her dictate you, call if you need me" he meets me gaze and nods "see you later Mols" I walk away worrying about how she treats him.

I wander down the paddock and bump into George and Alex "Hey guys!" They both give me a hug "congratulations for today you must me really proud of Lando!" I smile "it's been great to see him achieving what he should, are you off to see him" they both nod "gotta see our best mate and give him props!" Alex says and I smile we are all lucky to have each other "pizza night Friday? As we are "off" this week?" I ask and they both nod enthusiastically "cool I will message the chat, see you both later" they head towards McLaren as I walk down the paddock to Ferrari and spot my Charles waiting against the hospitality building. I run to him and crush him in a hug "thank you for letting me celebrate but now it's your turn" he grins and grabs my hand dragging me down the paddock.
