What just happened?!

As Lando heads to the podium it starts to sink in, he just kissed me in front of everyone. We agreed not to rush things but that did feel right. I hope on Lando's part it wasn't just the adrenaline of winning that encouraged this and he will regret it later! Charlotte pulls me out of my thoughts as everyone is moving to the podium "Molly that was the sweetest thing I've ever seen, he goes on about you all the time you know?" I shake my head "we all knew you were soulmates and would end up together!" She squeals in delight "let's see him on the podium" she drags me along as I'm still in a daze. People stare at me as I arrive under the podium "Charlotte is it going to be like last time?" She immediately knows what I'm asking "not at all! It will be okay!" She smiles at me and we watch them step out on the podium and the atmosphere is electric. I couldn't feel more proud of Lando then I do right now, he is incredible and I can't believe he took such a short time, realistically to get his first win, he is an incredible boy. He shakes his trophy in the air and I can't resist the grin that crosses my face when his eyes lock with mine and his smile seems to get even wider.

Lando

Being on the top step of the podium felt incredible but I know getting back to my girl will feel even better! I need to make sure that the kiss earlier hasn't ruined anything, I really hope it hasn't.

I finally make it back into the pit Lane and Carlos makes a beeline for me "CONGRATULATIONS" he yells pulling me in for hug "such a great race!" He tells me "thanks Carlos!" He grins at me before Max pulls me away "smashed it Norris, well done mate!" I grin "I'm not speaking of the race" he winks before walking back to Red Bull. I manage to make it back to McLaren where the whole garage erupts! Andreas comes over "congratulations Lando!" He gives me a hug "it's a win for all of us today!" He nods before I get swamped by my team! The celebrations continue for around an hour before I excuse myself to go find Mols. I head straight to Williams who are in high spirits due to George's P8 finish today. I spot George but I can't see Mols "George!" I yell and he heads straight over to me "congrats mate!" He claps my shoulder "you too! Long over due" he smiles "take it you're looking for Mols?" I nod and he points towards the centre of the garage where she is helping take apart his car "I will let her know you are here" he walks across and kneels down next to her and I see her skin flush red. She stands and brushes her hands down the front of her shorts before looking up and making eye contact with me. She smiles and relief washes over me, she doesn't look angry "Lands" she steps into my arms "I am unbelievably proud of you" she leans up and kisses me and I don't hesitate to react, she just answered all my questions.

I don't know why I just kissed him, I suppose it answered my worries about if he regrets it. I pull away and I can see the happiness sparkling in his eyes "am I allowed to take you for dinner?" He asks me and I nod "let me just go let Jim know I'm going" I tell him as I step away and back into the hyper garage "Jim, I'm going for dinner with Lands" he nods "thanks for your help, the boys and I really appreciate it every time you do!" I smile "cheers Jim, see you next weekend!" He nods before turning his attention back to the data on the screen. I spot George "George I'm going with Lando" he nods "I take it you will stay at his again?" I agree before congratulating him again and heading back to Lando who is waiting for me just outside the garage entrance "let's go!" He grabs my hand and we walk out of the paddock together.

I insisted on getting changed before going anywhere and he agreed eventually after telling me how beautiful I looked regardless. I didn't want to look over dressed so I pulled on some leather leggings and a cute floral crop top! I touched up my make up and sorted out my hair. I wasn't too sure where we were going, Lando wouldn't tell me! I leave the bathroom to find Lando, "Hey Lands?" He pops his head round the corner "Mols! You look incredible!" He pulls me into his arms and it actually feels like coming home. "We've both been really stupid" I mutter. He looks at me "we have, but let's just focus on what we have now" he grins at me "this has gone much faster than I expected" he frowns "not that it's a problem" I add "I know you wanted time but I'm not sorry that I'm in love with you or that I kissed you" I shake my head "I don't want you to be sorry, I'm happy Lands" he grins at me and I know in that moment that everything was worth it to get to here. "Right let's go for dinner!" I throw my denim jacket over my shoulders as Lands pulls on his trainers.
