Epilogue

The sun beat down from the sky, light and heat washing over me in waves. I closed my eyes and laid back on the sand with a content sigh, fixing my sunglasses. "I'm worried about you kitten. Looks like you're starting to get lazy." Hoseok's voice is as warm as the sun when he settles next to me, landing a quick kiss on my lips. "Back off boy, I'm like a lizard I need to soak in the sun to survive." I say nonchalantly, blinking my eyes open and flashing him a grin.

"So should I start calling you gecko?" He taunts and I giggle, shoving him away. "You're downright ridiculous. It's like you're trying to make up for all the annoyance I'm not getting from the others being here." I mutter but can't stop smiling. Something about Hoseok just makes me smile. "It's like you go out of your way to mention them as often as possible." He pouts and I nearly howl with laughter.

This lethal killer is acting like a child. In fact we both are. Laying on the sand of some hidden beach, finally enjoying time to ourselves. Having traveled about an eighth of the world with Bangtan and Hana, this week was really the first time Hoseok and I had all to ourselves. And we were wasting it on idle chatter and pointless banter. "I like when you smile like that." He says softly and I quickly dart my gaze away.

"Like what?" I murmur and he chuckles softly. "Like I actually make you happy." He gently slips a hand under my chin, turning my head back towards his. Ever so slowly he tilts my head back, pressing a kiss to the hollow of my throat. "I promise to make you happy Jinnie." He murmurs, looking up at me through his dark lashes. And my heart might actually skip a beat.

"Relationships of any kind aren't where I shine. But I'm going to try and be good to you." I tell him and we share a soft kiss, a promise to be the best we can for one another. "Sorry to interrupt this couple's trip early." Namjoon's voice dances through the air towards us and we both dart out gazes to him, hands on our guns just in case. Bangtan, my family, stands a few feet away, smiling down at us.

"I'd love to give you more time to make cute promises and cuddle but we've got business to do." Namjoon says and I hide a sigh, letting Hoseok help me up. "Well then what's our first order?" I ask and he smiles. "We start an enterprise and run the world." He says and I find myself shooting him a coy smile. "Easy. We should be done by next week." I say, grabbing Hoseok's hand and heading towards the others.

I really mean it. This little family we really can do it. We can do anything we want and more. We're Bangtan, we're bulletproof, and we're unstoppable. "Let's get started. We don't have all day boys." I chirp and hear a collection of laughter, Hoseok putting his arm around my waist and kissing my temple. "It'll be easy she says. I'll be waiting to prove you wrong." He whispers in a taunt and I laugh, ready to take over the world with him by my side.

A.N:
Hey y'all so I know this is late and a long time coming but I just checked and this story started with a prologue, logically that means it must end with an epilogue.

So here it is.

Short, sweet, and maybe a set up for a sequel? Who knows?
