I slowly open my eyes and sigh, shutting them again. Visions of what I said before I passed out flash in my mind and make me feel awful. "Jinnie?" The soft voice makes me open my eyes again and I fully take in the scene I'm in. Taehyung is laying on the bed beside me, my head was resting on his chest and I was curled in his arms. "Tae? What are you doing?" I whisper, both of us sitting up a little to look at each other. "I couldn't leave you alone." He says softly and darts his gaze away from mine.
"You didn't have to." I say and he sighs. "I know but-" I reach out and wrap my arms around his neck, kissing his cheek. "But thank you." I say softly and a tiny smile appears on his face as he wraps his arms around my waist and cuddles me gently. "Jinnie you have to keep fighting. It's how you're made." He says and I sigh, pressing my forehead against his. "Look I've tried. I really have but I'm defeated." I say and his eyes shine in the darkness, catching every little bit of light leaking into the room and reflecting it back.
"Please. We need you." He whispers and I close my eyes, pulling away from him. "I'm not going to say no again Tae." I sigh and he pulls me back towards him, my body leaning into his. "Then say yes. Please don't give up on us yet." He pleads and I lay my head on his shoulder, staring at the ceiling. "Let me think about it a little longer. Okay?" I whisper and he kisses my forehead, a small sigh of agreement.
I must fall asleep again because when my eyes open again Jin and Taehyung are whispering things to each other. "Shut up." I mutter, flipping over and basically curling up on top of Taehyung, eyes closing already. "Jinnie please get up." Jin says softly and I groan, burying my face in Taehyung's chest as he laughs. "I need to rest. I'm injured remember?" I mumbled and slowly sit up, lifting my shirt to gesture to the bandages.
"That's never held you back before. You've always done whatever you wanted even if it was a stupid idea." Jin says and I get to my feet, crossing my arms over my chest. "Jin I'm tired. All of the fight I had is gone. I'll give myself up for Joon and them I'll quit." I say and frowns appear on both their faces. "No. Absolutely not Jinnie." Jin says sternly and I roll my eyes, walking away from him.
"This is my life and I will do what I want." I state, looking over my shoulder at them. "I can't lose you." Jin breathes and Taehyung looks between the two of us for a second. "Should I give you two a moment?" He asks and I go to say no as Jin nods. "Alright then." Taehyung leaves the room and Jin stands up, walking over and taking my hands in his.
"I know that it hasn't been long since I let you knew how I felt but I don't want to let you go." He says softly and I lower my gaze. "Jin look, I get what you're saying but-" he leans it and cuts me off with a kiss. "Futures aren't guaranteed in the lives we have but I want one and I hope it can be with you." His sincerity breaks my heart because I never dreamed for a future.
"Jin this is a lot at once. I'm sorry, I just need some time to think by myself." He nods and backs away, letting me leave. "I'm sorry." He says and I kiss his cheek. "Don't be." I walk out of the room and head towards my own bedroom. I know that the boys are too protective to let me exchange myself for Namjoon so it's time to take matters into my own hands.
I quickly change into a pair of black jean shorts and a black sweatshirt, I throw my hair into ponytail and wrap a black bandana around my forehead before lacing up black heeled boots that cover my shins. I redo my makeup and then grab two gun holsters, strapping them to my thighs and slipping guns into them. "Alright bitches I'm coming for Joon." I say under my breath as I look at myself in the mirror.
I grab a small backpack that I keep filled with supplies and pull a rope out before slinging it over my shoulder. I walk across the room and open the window, tying the rope to the leg of the desks and tossing it out the window. After a quick check to see if it's secure I grab the rope and slip out the window, rappelling myself down the wall. My feet hit the ground and I sneak around the compound towards where the trucks are parked.
I crouch down beside the white pickup and grab the keys from where they're hidden behind one of the wheels. I get in and start the truck, slamming the gas and taking off. I grab my phone and hit Namjoon's contact, calling and waiting until someone picks up. "You wanted Vixen didn't you?" I ask and pull the truck to the side of the road, waiting for a response.
"Do you have her?" A voice finally comes through and I take a deep breath. "Yeah. Where do you want to meet to exchange her for Namjoon?" I tap my fingers on the steering wheel and anxiously glance out the window. "You can come straight to our headquarters. I'll send you the address. Don't be late or else we'll have consequences." Whoever it is hangs up and my phone vibrates as a text comes in.
"Alright. I can get there." I sigh and merge back onto the road, flooring the pedal down. "They want Vixen and they're going to get Vixen." I say under my breath and turn off my phone, putting it into my pocket and hoping the boys don't do anything too stupid when they find me missing. "It had to be done." I tell myself and take a sharp turn, calming my breathing and silently saying my goodbyes.
