It's been two weeks since Liam's party. Louis talked to Laura and Zayn about it the day after. Their parents all got together so Louis thought it would be good to go and let his friends convince him it doesn't mean anything. He was wrong, they made fun of him and only created more doubts in Louis' mind. He decided, after that, to just forget about what happened, or what he wanted to happen rather. He's set his mind on denying it until he dies.

He figures it's better this way, he doesn't like Harry, he doesn't even like boys. That was just him being tired and hungover. That's it, it wasn't him,it was the situation.

Harry hasn't been playing this two weeks but today he's supposed to come back. Louis is quite disappointed about it. While Harry was gone, he filed his place, as the coach requested, and even got to play a game as captain, which they won. He was hoping Coach Higgins would realize that Louis was a much better fit for the roll but then again, when has life gone his way?

The chemistry lessons since that night have been quite awkward too. Louis doesn't want to seem too soft while explaining and Harry doesn't want to seem like he's helpless. It's clear how all they can think about is what they both wanted to happen then but also how they try to avoid any topic related to it. You would think it's easy given they're studying chemistry but somehow they both find it difficult not to relate everything to it in their minds.

Louis is already in the locker room changing when Harry walks in making a fuss about his return. The room is filled with cheers and noises from the team welcoming him. Louis just rolls his eyes. Harry walks past him and grabs his chin to make look directly at him.

"Missed me?" He asks as he winks.

"No, not really." He pulls his head back to get rid of Harry's hand which still holds his chin.

"Fine, deny it all you want Princess." He goes to his locker.

How does he do that? Louis hates him so how come he manages to make him have the urge to him every time he's being annoyingly obnoxious.

Practice goes by smoothly. Harry makes them run for thirty minutes and then Coach suggests playing a game which nobody has energy for but they do it anyway. Now they're back in the changing room and everyone is talking about the party they're supposed to have when the christmas break starts.

Each year the team goes to someone's house and they throw a party just for them. This year Harry is supposed to decide what they're going to do but so far all the ideas sound like a normal Friday for the team. Harry shushes everyone and gets on top of a bench.

"I have decided which idea we're going to do." Everyone looks at him awaiting his verdict. "Mine."

Of course he would only consider his idea. A narcissistic prick like him would do it with no shame. The team laughs but nobody seems to complain.

"We're going to go to my beach house for a whole weekend."

"A beach house? In winter?"

"Don't worry Princess, the pool is heated and if you feel too cold I'll make a cup of tea just for you." Harry purses his lips sending him a kiss and Louis just rolls his eyes. The team laughs and then they chater about how much fun they're going to have.

That night night Louis pitches Harry's idea to his mum hoping she wouldn't like it and he wouldn't have to go but his mother only agrees with the idea and tells him that it would be a good opportunity to blow off some steam and just have fun for once.

Louis focuses on the 'for once' a little too much. What is that to mean? Does his mum think that he's too serious? Or is it just something all mums say? Louis knows that sometimes he can get too worried about stuff that he shouldn't be worrying about but he doesn't think is something bad. Does his mum think it is?

"You should go and have fun with the team, if you are not going to do it for yourself then just do it for them." Jay says when she notices how Louis is falling into a spiral, worrying.

This couldn't be worse for Louis. He considers faking being ill so he won't have to go but he knows his mum will see right through him and then she'll want an explanation as to why Louis is saying no to a party and to be honest, not even he knows exactly why he is.

It's now the last Friend of school before the break. Coach Higgins gives the team the day off since it's the last day so all there is to do after school is go to Harry stupid house. Louis is already dreading going there but there's no backing out now. He gets out of school and starts walking towards the parking lot when he feels someone tap his back a little too hard for his liking.

"See you later, Princess." Louis gives him a hard smile almost looking angry. Harry picks up his pace just a little bit and turns around walking backwards in a way that the two boys are now facing each other. "Make sure you pack your swimming suit." He winks.
