In Love With a Bully- Johayden

Part 4

Later that afternoon,
Hayden walked into the drugstore. He looked around for a few minutes until he found about 3 shelves with different types of condoms.
He stood there, confused about what to do. He must've stood there for about five minutes before a young woman came up to him

"You ok?" She asked

"Uh..." Hayden said awkwardly

"I'm guessing this is your first time buying condoms?" She said with a comforting smile

"Yeah. I have no idea what I'm doing." He told her

"It's fine, every guy's like this the first time. We see at least 5 teenage boys everyday standing right here." She joked and Hayden laughed awkwardly "So don't know what to buy."

"No idea."

"Does your girlfriend have any preferences?" She asked

Hearing the word girlfriend made Hayden feel dizzy

"Uh... she just wants like, normal regular..."

"Ok. That's easy then." She said before she picked up a red box of 12 condoms from the middle row "Here you go. If this is your first time, you don't want textured or flavoured ones."

"Thanks." Hayden said as they walked over to the counter

"That'll be $9." She said and Hayden gave her the money and she put the box of condoms in a small bag

"Thanks for the help." Hayden said as she handed it to him

"No problem. And, uh... have fun." She said

They smiled at each other before Hayden turned round and left.

The next day,
Hayden watched as his parents drove off. He went back inside and quickly ran upstairs.
He went into his room and looked in his mirror, fixing his hair.
He looked at his navy shirt buttoned up to his collar and unbuttoned the top three buttons and rolled his sleeves up to his elbows and untucked it from his black skinny jeans.

He grabbed the glass bottle of cologne and sprayed it under his arms and his neck. He picked up a gold chain from his drawers and put it over his neck under his shirt.
He heard a knock at the door and quickly went downstairs to the front door.

He opened the door and saw Annie standing there

"Hey. You look... nice." She said as Hayden let her inside "Why're you wearing a smart shirt? We're not having a romantic meal. You haven't made a meal, have you?"

"No! I just wanted to look nice." Hayden said quickly "Uh... so... what do you wanna do?"

Annie looked at him, "I thought we were having sex?"

"We are! I just thought you might wanna do something before. Like, hang out a bit."

"Um... no thanks. Maybe we could just go upstairs to your room?" Annie said

"Sure. Follow me."

Annie followed Hayden upstairs and they went into his room.
