Johnny's head was leaned against the window as Grey drove him home after they took Claire home.
Hayden was sat in the backseat behind Johnny and the three of them were in silence.

Grey pulled over outside Johnny's house

"Go." Johnny told him as he got out of the car

He shut Hayden's door as Hayden started opening it

"Leave me alone." Johnny told him

Hayden and Grey looked at each other before Hayden put his seatbelt back on

Johnny walked up his house pathway and up to the front door and Grey and Hayden drove away.

Johnny shut the front door behind him and leaned his head back against the door.
He reached over to the light switch and turned the lights on.

He walked into the living room. It felt as if his body was to heavy to walk.
He walked over to the fireplace and picked up a framed photo of himself, his mom and his grandpa.

Johnny yelled in anger as he threw the picture across the room and the picture smashed against the wall and fell on the floor, broken glass around it

Johnny ran upstairs and went into his room. He grabbed some bags from his closet and started shoving his clothes into them. He put everything else that he needed into the bags before he picked them up.

He went downstairs, turned off the lights and left.
He walked over to his car and threw his bags in the backseat and got in the driver's seat.

As he turned the engine on, he saw an envelope on the passenger seat. He picked it up and opened it and pulled out a letter. He turned the ignition off as he unfolded it and read it

'Johnny,
I know that when you find this, you'll already know. I just want you to know why I did this.
It's not because I have depression or hate my life. I've wanted to this for years, but I didn't want to leave you on your own.
I did this because I was sick of being a burden on you. I wanted you to go have live your own life where you don't have to worry about me. I want you to go to college, go on vacations, move house. Just live your life.
I did this now after years of wanting it because now I know you won't be alone. You have your dad, Hayden, Hunter and Olivia. You have a family and people who love you. If I did this years ago, you wouldn't have anyone. So please, I beg you, don't push them away. They love you just as much as I do.
These past couple of years have been tough on both of us, but especially you. When your grandpa died, you had no one you could talk to. I know you didn't want to confide in me about your problems because you thought I had enough to deal with. And I hate that you thought that. I would've always made time for you, no matter what.
And don't ever think I don't love you. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. You were my whole life, the one person I could truly rely on. I love you so, so much. And I am so proud of the young man you've grown into and I'll always be with you.

Love you always,
Mom
Xxx'

Johnny looked down at the letter, rereading and rereading it.
He laid his head against the steering wheel as tears streamed down his face. He looked back at his bags in the backseat before he folded the letter back up and placed it back in the envelope.

He wiped his eyes before he started the engine again and pulled out of the driveway.

Grey was sat on the sofa, leaning forward.
