-2 weeks later
*Layla's POV*
The rumor was still going around even though Ron and Hermione told most people it was fake. I became better friends with Brianne and Lizzie. I was sitting under a tree that I found when I was walking around with Brianne the other day
"Didn't expect to see you here" A voice said
"Huh?" I turned around
It was Draco. His friends following
"What do you want Malfoy.." I said standing up
"Can't we just talk? Like friends" Draco said
"We aren't friends Draco!"
"Why? Is Potter rubbing off on you?" Draco smirked
"You bullied him for years! I'm not being friends with someone who hurts my best friends!" I yelled
"Ahhh, protecting your boyfriend I see" Draco said walking close to me
"Get away from me" I said pulling out my wand
"What's that little wand going to do? You can't do any spells!" Draco laughed
"You're just a useless witch!" Goyle said
I gave all of them a death stare
"What's a stupid death stare going to do huh?" Draco laughed
I turned my focus on to Draco. He turned away
"You sure it's just a little death stare?" I said
Draco grabbed his face. There was a scratch on his cheek. I didn't even know I could do that
I spun my wand around my fingers and put it into the pocket of my Gryffindor robe
"I would do more if I had the chance" I said turning around
"Yeah like you're strong enough!" One of Draco's friends said to me
"Shut it before I kill you" I said turning my head
The boys ran off
"Layla?!" A voice said
It was Cedric with Lizzie and Brianne
"Don't tell me you saw that" I sighed
"All of it!" Lizzie smiled
I laughed
"Come on! Let's get back to the school!" Brianne said
They walked up to me as we walked back into the school
"Crap! I forgot my bag" Lizzie said
"Let's go get it" Brianne said "Meet you back in the school!"
The two girls walked the other direction leaving me and Cedric
"Oh, by the way there's a quidditch game tonight. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff" Cedric smiled
"That's going to be the first game of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff that I've watched!" I laughed
"Really?!"
"Yeah all the other times I wasn't able to watch" I said
Cedric started talking about quidditch, blah blah blah. Once we got into the school, I saw Harry and said Bye to Cedric. I walked up to him
"Heyyyy chosen one" I joked
"Hi miss death stare" Harry laughed knowing it was me
"I heard you have a quidditch game tonight against Hufflepuff!" I smiled
