The First Look

*Layla's POV*

Me, Harry, Hermione, and Ron we're sitting outside studying. When Krum was walking by, well, not necessarily walking, more of working out as he walked. Girls followed after him

"I don't get how people can find him attractive" I said

"So, you're saying you don't?" Ron asked

"Of course I don't you dimwit" I scoffed "If he would ask me out to the ball I would say no quicker than he could finish the sentence"

"I mean, he's alright.." Hermione said

"Don't tell me you-" I said "Do you fancy him?!"

"Wh-What? No!" Hermione stuttered

I went back to studying

We were in the great Hall for Snape's class. I didn't pay attention to why, so don't ask me. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were on one side and I was on the other. Ron kept talking to people about how he's going to be the only one without a date, blah blah. Snape pushes Rons head back towards his notebook

"Well, us and Neville" Ron whispered to Harry

"Yeah, but then again, he can take himself" Harry whispered back

"It might interest you to know Neville's already got someone" I whispered

"Now I'm really depressed"Ron sighed

George passed a note to Ron( I know it was Fred but it's going to makes sense later in the story (:). Then, George asked out Angelina out, she said yes

"Oi, Hermione," Ron said "You're a girl,"

"Very well spotted" Hermione snapped

Harry started tapping Ron as Snape was coming

"Come with one of us?"

The three of them got hit on the head

"Come on, it's one thing for a boy to show up alone. For a girl, it's just sad" Ron added

"I won't be going alone, because, someone's already asked me!" Hermione whisper yelled

She went up and handed her book to Snape

"And I said yes!" Hermione said grabbing her books and walking away

After a minute, Snape hit Harry and Ron on their heads again

"How about you Layla? Got a date yet" Ron asked me

"Nope. And I'm not going with you Ron" I whispered as I got up

I gave Snape my notebook and walked out of the class with my things. I heard Ron grunt in pain as Snape pushed his head again. I walked around for a bit until someone came in front of me and stopped me

"What do you want, Malfoy" I asked

"Simple question," Draco said

"Go on"

"You. Me. Yule Ball. Together." Draco said

"Nice way of putting it. But, I'm sure you'll get another girl with it" I said

"Is that a-" He started

"It's a no, but try it on another girl, you'll surely get her" I said walking away

I patted his shoulder as I walked away. Draco turned around

"I'm sure you'll get Parkinson with it!" I called out
