The First Look

*Layla's POV*

I was at lunch, sitting next to Harry with no one else on the other side, and Hermione across from me. Soon after, Seamus, Dean, and Neville, came and sat down. Neville sat next to me leaving Seamus and Dean to sit on the other side

"Well Hello everyone" I laughed

"Hi!" Some of them said

"I honestly just want to go back to bed" I said

"Well if you went to bed earlier and woke up earlier you wouldn't be tired" Hermione said

I playfully rolled my eyes and started eating

"What does she mean by 'went to bed earlier'? How late did you stay up till?" Neville asked

"Like, um, 2am.."

"How-"

"How did you even manage to not fall asleep?!" Harry laughed

"Harry, you stay up all night too" I said

"I do not- Okay maybe I do" He said

We all laughed and continued eating. Talking as well so we didn't all sit in silence. When I looked over at Seamus, it looked like he was 'jealous' or something. Maybe he was having a bad day? I don't know, ask Seamus if you want

* Seamus's POV*

I'm not jealous, if that's what you are here for. Go back to Layla or something. I don't know what you want

*Layla's POV*

Don't be so rude Seamus. Anyway, back to what I was saying..

(I'm sorry for that. It' was so stupid-🧍🏻‍♀️)

I looked away from Seamus and looked at my food. To my surprise, lunch was over already

"Man. I wasn't done eating!" Ron said annoyed

"Ron that was your third plate of food. You've had plenty" Hermione said

I laughed a bit and so did everyone but, Seamus. He seems so off today

I was walking in the hall and saw Seamus so I went up to him

"Hey Seamus?" I said

"Hm?" He asked

"Are you okay? You seem so off today"

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm just having a bad day, don't worry"

"You can always talk to me you know that right?" I smiled

"Of course I do. I'll tell you if anything is wrong I promise" he smiled back

He made to his class and we say bye as I continued going to mine

"Confronting your new boyfriend? said familiar behind me

I turned around and saw Lizzie with Brianne

"How's it going with your boyfriend?" Brianne laughed

"He isn't my boyfriend." I laughed

Lizzie and Brianne laughed again

"You sure?" Another voice said behind me

As I turned around I saw Cedric

"Bloody Hell" I said

Cedric went around and stood next to Lizzie. Wow. The height difference. Brianne was, I would say like 5'7 or something, Lizzie looked about 5'2 maybe and Ced was like 6'1.
