-the next day
*Harry's POV*
It was Saturday. Me, Ron, and Hermione were in the common room. We haven't seen Layla all day and it was 1pm
"Do you know where Layla is?" I asked Hermione
"No. Why would I?" Hermione said
"I don't know, maybe because you share a dorm with her" I replied
"She didn't come into the dorm last night," Hermione said "I was waiting for her so I could apologize. But she never came"
"Then where would she have slept?" Ron said worried
"Is there anyone who would know where she went?" Hermione asked
"Maybe Cedric?" I said
"Maybe" Ron and Hermione said together
We walked out of the common room to look for Cedric

I saw Cedric talking with four people. A girl with brown hair and lighter highlights, A girl with curly blonde hair, a boy with dirty blonde almost brown hair, and a boy with blonde hair. We walked up to them
"Hey Cedric?" I said
"What's up?" He asked
"Would you, by any chance, know where Layla is?" I said
"Why what happened?" Cedric replied
"We haven't seen her all day" Ron added
"I got into a fight with her last night and I haven't seen her since" Hermione said
"No, I haven't seen her" Cedric said
"Well, I saw her walking towards the library not too long ago" the girl with brown hair said
"And she wasn't with anyone" The boy with blonde hair said
"Okay, thank you!" I said
"No problem" Cedric smiled
I walked away with Hermione and Ron. We went to the library. As I walked in I saw Layla sitting on one of the couches reading. I went up to her
"Where have you been?" I asked sitting next to her
"I've been around. Why?" She said looking up from her book
"We, haven't seen you all day" Ron said coming over
"And I wanted to apologize but I couldn't" Hermione said standing next to Ron
"I'm sorry I meant to find you guys but it totally slipped my mind," Layla said "I was busy bothering Malfoy and his friends"
"At least you were doing that and not just ignoring us" I laughed
"Did you scratch him at all?" Ron joked
"I did actually" Layla laughed "One on both of his cheeks"
We all laughed and started talking. Hermione and Layla said sorry to each other. The topic repeatedly changed throughout the conversation. At one point Professor McGonagall came over to us in the Library
"Headmaster Dumbledore would like to see you Miss.Black and Mr.Potter" McGonagall spoke
I looked at Layla and she looked at me. We stood up and followed McGonagall. We got to Dumbledore's office and walked in
"Hello Miss.Black and Mr.Potter" He spoke
"Hello Sir" Layla said
"Why did you need to see us Sir?" I asked
