-Buckbeak is 'killed'
*Layla's POV*

Me, Hermione, Harry, and Ron we're going the way towards Hagrid's. Buckbeak was going to get killed. Some people were happy about it, more specifically Draco and his irrelevant friends, and some people didn't react or they were upset about it. Draco is only happy about it because he got 'attacked' by Buckbeak in Hagrid's first class. When Harry told me that, I laughed

"I can't believe they're going to kill Buckbeak! It's just to horrible" Hermione said

"It just got worse.." Ron said as we stepped outside

Speak of the devil. Draco was sitting there, with binoculars, waiting to watch Buckbeak get killed. Hermione started walking towards him and his two friends who were there. Harry, Ron, and I looked at each other and followed Hermione

"Look who's here" Crabbe said

"Ahh! Come to see the show?" Draco said

"You! You foul loads of evil little cockroach!" Hermione said as she put her wand to Draco's neck

"Hermione no!" Ron said

"It's not worth it" I added

It was worth it. I would do it too but I didn't want to get killed by someone for saying "Do it Hermione!". Draco was whimpering like a dog and I tried not to laugh. I mean, he looked so stupid. Hermione then lowered her wand and slowly turned around. Draco started to laugh. Then the most iconic thing Hermione has ever done, punched Draco. Him and his two friends ran off like children

"That felt good" Hermione said

"Not good. Brilliant!" Ron said

Hermione looked at him and only him, not me, not Harry, just Ron

"You think they fancy each other?" Harry whispered to me

"100%" I whispered

"I heard that" Ron said snapping his head this way

"But you can't deny it-" I started

"But we don't!" Hermione and Ron both said

"You guys act like you-" I tried saying

Harry covered my mouth with his hand

"Shush. They're going to kill you" Harry said

"Whatever" I said but it was muffled under Harry's hand

He took away his hand and we started walking towards Hagrid's

"Your hand is warm" I said to Harry

He gave me a look of confusion

"Look. Feel mine, They're cold. Then feels your hands, they're warm" I said putting my hand out to Harry

"How are your hands that cold?" He said letting go of my hand

"I don't know! I woke up and they been cold since"

"Will you two stop talking about how cold or warm your hands are?! We have a serious situation to deal with right now" Hermione snapped

"Fine" Both me and Harry said

We got to Hagrid's. Harry and Hagrid were talking as they looked out the window

"Why can't we just set him free?" I asked as I looked around

"They'll know it's was me. Dumbledore will get into trouble.." Hagrid said

He continued talking but I stop listening when I found a ruby colored jewel. I picked it up and held it in the palm of my hand

"Put. That. Down!" Hermione said

"What? Why?" I asked

"You don't know what it is! That's why"

"Then do you know what it is?" I said

"N-No" Hermione replied

"Then watch this.." I said "Hagrid?"

Hagrid turned around

"Can I take this jewel?" I asked

"Of course! It's a jewel I found it awhile ago"

"Boom." I said turning to Hermione

"But surely that has some meaning to it!" Hermione added

"Nope not really."

"Boom!" I said crossing my arms

"Whatever" Hermione sighed

Hagrid pulled out a rat

"Scabbers! You're alive" Ron said grabbing the rat

"Keep a closer eye on your pets Ron" Hagrid said

"I think that means you owe someone and apology" Hermione said

"Right. Next time I see Crookshanks, I'll let him know"

"I meant me!"

Then a jar broke. Then Harry got hit in the back of the head. The people who were coming to kill Buckbeak were walking up. Hagrid started framing out telling us we shouldn't be here

"Quick, Quick!" Hagrid said shooing is out of the hut

I ran towards the door after Ron first. I'm not getting in trouble, I've been in detention enough with Snape already. Harry stood there saying something to Hagrid

"Harry! Get over here" I said grabbing his arm

The four of us ran outside and hid behind some pumpkins. Hermione heard something in the woods and we started running back to where we were before we went to Hagrid's

"You guys are slow! Hurry up" I said going in front of them

The time came. We stood there and saw Buckbeak get killed. I went behind the massive rock and shut my eyes after I saw it happen. I was always horrible with gore and blood since I was a child. Hermione hugged Ron. Then Harry came over to me and hugged me. Harry started rubbing my back. I had fainted because of blood in the past even if I barley saw any blood or if it was far away

"Harry.. I-I'm getting dizzy" I said into his jacket

"Deep breaths Layla.. you're okay" He said starting to sway me back and forth

My vision slowly came back and I wasn't dizzy that much anymore

"You okay?" Harry said pulling out of the hug and putting his hands on my shoulders

"Mhm" I nodded

Harry smiled

"Ow! He bit me!" Ron said dropping scabbers

Way to ruin the moment Ron. He started chasing Scabbers, then me Harry, and Hermione started chasing Ron

"Ron! You dimwit! Let him be! I'll get you a new rat for all I care!" I yelled
