-The First Task

*Layla's POV*

I had Ron and Hermione save me a spot near them because I wanted to say something to Harry before the first task started. How would I get there you ask? As a swan of course. I found somewhere where no one was. I turned into a swan and headed to the tent Harry was in and quickly changed out of my swan form. I went up to the back side of it

"Psst.." I whispered "Psst.."

I could tell someone was there

"Harry? Is that you?" I asked

"Yeah.." He whispered back

"How are you?" I whispered

He didn't respond

"Harry, you have to concentrate, okay? Then-" I started

"Battle a dragon."

I went and hugged him. A flash cause me to pull out of the hug quickly

"Young love.." A woman with blonde hair said

She walked up to me and Harry "If everything goes unfortunately today, you two may even make the front page" She have us a cheeky grin

"You have no business here." Krum  said "This tent is for champions, and friends."

"No matter," She spoke "We've got what we wanted"

Dumbledore walked in

"Good luck Harry" I whispered

He smiled as I left the tent. Once I got outside, I changed back into a swan. I flew over to Hermione, carful not to be seen as a swan by anyone else

"What are you doing! You could've been seen" Hermione whisper yelled as she saw me

"What else did you want me to do?" I whispered

Cedric, Fleur, and Krum have all gotten their egg from the dragon. It was Harry's turn. As Harry walked out people cheered and clapped. As I looked at Harry I could tell he was nervous. He took a few steps then the dragon tried to hit him. Harry got 'thrown' and the dragon tried hitting him with Fire

"HA-" I started

"Shush. You can speak to your boyfriend after this" Ron said

"Not my boyfriend. And, What if he bloody dies?" I scoffed keeping my eyes on Harry

"Oh well."

"Ron!" I said hitting his shoulder

He got tossed and almost hit with fire again

"Your wand, Harry! Your wand!" I called out

"Accio Firebolt!" Harry said

As he jumped on his broom the dragon tried hitting him with fire again. Once Harry got away, people cheered and clapped. The dragon tried catching him but he was chained up. The dragon burst out the chains

"Harry! Watch out!" I called out to him

Harry turned around. The dragon chased Harry out the stadium or whatever it is. I went to go change into a swan but Hermione stopped me

"Layla don't. You could get hurt" Hermione said

"So can Harry!" I sneered

"But as a, swan, it would much easier to get hurt"

I rolled my eyes and watched as Harry flew away with the dragon behind him. After a little while, I heard the dragon

"Hermione please! Can I just-" I started

"No!" She snapped

"Whatever" I sighed

~ a few minutes later

We haven't seen Harry or the dragon come back. I was getting more worried than I already was. Then, here comes Harry. People cheered as he came back. Harry flew over and grabbed the golden egg. Everyone, even people from the other schools, cheered for him.

"I told you he wouldn't die!" Ron said to me as he clapped

"Oh shut it Ron"

~in the common room

Harry was on Fred and George's shoulders and Gryffindors were still cheering

"Shush! Go on Harry, what's the clue?" Seamus said

Seamus tossed the egg to Harry

"Who wants me to open it?"

"Yes!" Everyone cheered

"Do you want me to open it?" Harry asked again

"Yes!"

As Harry opened the egg, the most blood-curling scream came out. Fred and George dropped him so they could cover their ears. Harry shut the egg

"What the bloody hell was that" Ron asked walking in

"All right everyone, go back to your knitting," Fred started

"This is gonna be uncomfortable enough without all you soda listening in" George finished

I sat next to Hermione. I was next to Harry as he was standing up. My ears were still ringing because of the sound. I'm sure everyone in the school could've heard it. Ron and Harry were talking, hopefully making up
