-The Champions

People crowed in the Great Hall. I sat down near Harry with Brianne on the other side of me. Brianne hasn't been with Cedric and Lizzie for awhile, Brianne started becoming friends with Fred and George. And the twins were next to Brianne

"Now the moment you've all been waiting for, the champion selection" Dumbledore spoke

The fire that was lighting up the room blew out. Everyone watched in silence as Dumbledore waited for the first name. The fire out of Goblet, which was once blue, turned a bright pink. A singular piece of parchment flew out and Dumbledore caught it

"The Durmstrang champion, Viktor Krum!"

Everyone cheered and clapped as Krum shook Dumbledore's hand and walked away. The fire spit out yet another name. As Fleur was announced as the champion from her school, I noticed, Brianne didn't clap

"What's your deal with her?" I whispered to Brianne

"Ever since the day I put my name in, we've practically hated each other" Brianne whispered back

The third piece of parchment flew out

"And the hogwarts champion, Cedric Diggory!"

The great hall irrupt into cheers and claps. Brianne clapped a bit but didn't show as much happiness as other people did. Cedric walked over towards the other champions

"We now have our three champions! But in the end, only one will go down in history..." Dumbledore said

He continued talking. The Tri-Wizard cup was shown. The goblet started spitting out another name. I looked at Harry and he looked at me. When we looked back, Dumbledore had caught the piece of parchment

"Harry Potter.. Harry Potter?" Dumbledore said

Harry slid back down into his seat

"Harry Potter?!" Dumbledore yelled

"Go on Harry." I said pushing Harry slightly

He refused to stand up

"For goodness shake, get off your ass and go up there" I whisper yelled

I pushed Harry up. Ron looked in disgust as Harry walked up. He went to Dumbledore, as he walked past everyone people called out "He's a cheat" and things like that

People cleared out of the Great Hall

(DISCLAIMER: Once it enters Brianne's POV, you do not have to read it. However, it will help the storyline in later chapters and it will give you more of a look into Cedric, Lizzie, and Brianne's friendship.)

Hermione left the Great Hall shortly before everyone else because Ron refused to stay for just a few more minutes. Brianne said she had some things to do. So, I was alone. Hermione went where with Ron, Brianne is going to do whatever she has to, and Harry is with the other champions. I just decided to go to the Common room, then to my dorm

*Brianne's POV*

I went to the courtyard to cool off a bit. It started raining. I never liked rain but I never hated it either. I sat down and just let the rain fall and hit me. After just 10minutes I was soaked

Two people walked towards me. A goldish yellow lining their robes. The two people I wanted to talk to the least. It was mainly Cedric that made me not talk to them. Since I shared a dorm with Lizzie, I had to talk to her at some moments

"Brianne.." Lizzie started

"I don't want to talk to you two" I said standing up

"Brianne come on, you can't avoid us forever" Cedric said
