These characters were made by myself and an old friend a while back some things have been changed.

An angel born in the skies with long black hair and beautiful yellow eyes. Her father, an angel himself, Eon and her mother, Ai (who was my female version of Satan.)

The name they had chosen for the child was Shinto; her mother told Eon to raise her over there as she would not be happy in the other realm, for Shinto was half an angel and half a devil, though for some reason only her hatred would spark the change to her devil side. All would see her as impure and a disgrace to their kind as an angel, and any being from the other side who was in love was forbidden.

Down on land, a young couple were preparing for their first baby. Once she was born, her parents loved her gorgeous blue eyes, and she was given the name Kyo. The angel and the wolf were only a year apart.

A few years later, Shinto had a half-sister, Sinta, with silver hair and yellow eyes like her. The two were very close.

For Kyo, in the years that came, she had brown hair with ears that sprouted from the top. And a bushy tail, just like her parents.

(Time skip to when they were 15 and 16)

Over time many angels become brutal to Shinto, calling her defective, half-breed, a stain. Sinta watched as it took a toll on her older sister. The younger one crawled into Shinto's bed and patted her forearm as tears streamed down. Suddenly, a purple tail wrapped around Shinto's chest and was brought into a pair of warm arms.

She looked up to see familiar pink eyes, light blue hair and the fanged toothy grin from her childhood best friend from the other place. Johnny the incubus.

"What do you want, Johnny?" She asked as she wiped away her dried tears. He hugged the angel tight. "My soulmate's crying, and I'm not  supposed to come right away?"

Shinto sighed, "I'm not your soulmate, Johnny. I'm your friend, and you aren't supposed to be here."

He rolled his eyes, "so what? I've been coming here ever since we were five, and I've only been caught once."

He let go of her and eyed the room. "Speaking of which, I should go." With that, he zapped himself from the room.

Shinto placed her head in her hands, "I can't keep going on like this." Sinta used her brain to think, and by nightfall, she had an idea.

Shinto was awoken by someone poking her cheek. She opened her lids and saw her sister. "What is it, Sinta? It's late."

The silver-haired girl spoke, "I can take you away from this pain." The older one was gobsmacked but dryly laughed. "That's a sweet thought, but that's impossible."

Sinta shook her head and repeated, "I can take you away from here."

"How?"

"By sending you to the earth below."

Shinto was shocked, "you can't do that; it's not allowed, and you'll get in trouble!"

Her sister replied, "No one will know." She raised her hands, and her palms began to shine. Before Shinto could even process the younger one's actions, a portal opened beneath her. Shinto screamed as she fell; her wings were useless as she was too tired to fly. The portal closed. That was the last thing she saw before she blacked out as her head hit the dirt.

Kyo chopped wood as the sweat glistened off her muscles, "Kyo can hurry up with that wood!"

"Yes, Dad!" She shouted back.

Her father came out to see how far off she was from finishing. He chuckled when she came rushing over to hug him. He then asked. "You know you can go out and explore the world; you don't have to keep helping your old folks."

Kyo crossed her arms over her chest, "I've already said I'll leave when I'm 18, plus Koga still has to try mum's cooking."

Her dad laughed again. "You rugrats are still rowdy as ever. I'm glad you had a friend while growing up."

She responded. "Yeah..." Kyo harboured secret feelings for the fellow wolf demon. They always raced. He was faster, but she was more substantial.

A chill went down her spine as she felt an awful presence surround them. She spun around, axe at the ready. A man had appeared before them, a demon, to be more precise.

He had long, silver hair that flowed to his feet, sharp golden eyes and markings on his face.

Kyo asked as her mother joined them outside, "do you know him?"

Both answered in unison. "No."

Without a word, the poker-faced demon suddenly slashed his sword across her parent's chest. Sprays of blood burst from the open wounds, dropping like flies.

Kyo fell to her knees and felt her heart thump rapidly with fear as he approached. The axe slipped from her claws, "w-who are you? Why did you..." she couldn't get the words out as she was frozen, still processing the unseen attack.

"I do not need to tell you anything." He said as he pocketed something from her mother's gown. He went to walk off before what looked like a goblin shouted, "Lord Sesshomaru, wait for me!"

The demon glared at him but continued, and his servant followed him.

Lord Sesshomaru was who he was, not that she'd ever heard of him. She shuffled over to her parents, lips wobbling as her eyes watered.

She swore to avenge her parents for such a blatant murder.
