*I just want to preference that the rest of the story will take place in Addies 5th year/Fred's 6th year and forward (Goblet of Fires era and on). I wanted to give a little background to my story in the first 4 parts and intros to my personal characters.*

Fall was always a personal favorite of Addies especially September 1st. Addie's heart was racing as she waited for The Weasleys to show up to the platform. This year Addie was supposed to make sure that her youngest brothers Charlie and Jude had all their school books and supplies. It was their first year at Hogwarts. All of Addies siblings were invited to study magic Hogwarts along side her. Scotty got his letter 2 years after Addie did and it made her jump for joy that she wasn't the only wizard in the family. However they ran into a small hiccup during the sorting ceremony.

"Ah I see courage and bravery in you Scotty." Said the Sorting hat, "I will place you in Gryffindor!"
When the sorting hat placed Scotty in Gryffindor, Addie was shocked. She thought that they could be a family of Hufflepuffs but that didn't seem to be the case.
Scotty was a 3rd year now. He was tall, 6'0, athletic, played on the quidditch team as a chaser. He was only 13 and still growing and still filling out. He took over Alicia Spinnets position when tryouts took place his second year. She wasn't happy that Scotty beat her out that year, she still hasn't spoken to them since that day. The team consisted of Harry, Scotty, George, Angelina, Katie, Oliver, Ginny and Fred. They had a good team and they were hoping to win that year. However Quidditch would have to be put on hold due to the fact that The Triwizard Tournament was taking place at Hogwarts this year. Scotty and the rest of the team were pretty pissed about that.

Addie was still waiting anxious to see the twins, especially Fred. Addie heard about what happened at the Quidditch World Cup in the newspaper. She was supposed to go with the Weasleys but couldn't make it because she needed to get Jude and Charlie ready for school. She felt relieved that she didn't go after what happened that day but she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that she wasn't there at Fred's side.

Addie and Fred had been best friends since they met that day in Diagon Alley. She felt at home with him.
They were always goofing off. They spent most of their weekends down in Hogsmead or down at the lake when it was warm out. Fred and George were known for sneaking around the castle and causing some type of trouble, but they never got caught to anyone's surprise. Around Addies 3rd year at Hogwarts Fred started sneaking around and finding secret passages to the Hufflepuff common room. Addie spent most of her nights that year staying up all night with Fred when he would get restless and sneak in to her dorm room. It was their own secret. Not even George knew.

It was 10:50am. The train was going to leave in 10 minutes. She was still waiting for Fred. Frankie and Ruby tried to get Addie to get on the train with everyone else but she was stubborn about waiting. "Go ahead guys, I'm going to wait. They still have 10 minutes, they're always late. Ruby Will you please take Jude and Charlie to first year seating? I'll owe you big time!" Addie gave Ruby a puppy dog face before Ruby rolled her eyes and pushed the boys onto the train.
5 more minutes. They had 5 more minutes.
Addie couldn't wait any longer. She hadn't seen Fred all summer and was dying to see him. Along with everyone else of course.
Finally she saw red hair breaking through the pbarrier. But it wasn't Fred.
Ron broke through first followed by Hermione and Harry. Addie waved and looked impatiently at Ron. "They're coming!" Ron said "They were just behind us!" And Ron scurried off to load his luggage on the train. Finally. Ginny ran off to find Scotty and get him to help her load her luggage. "They're coming!" Ginny yelled at her as she ran by. "Where the Hell are they?" Addie said out loud. and just when she finished her sentence George followed by Fred came barreling through the barrier. "Fuck!" said George "We've got 2 minutes! Hurry your ass up!"
Fred scrambled to get his luggage on the train with her help. They barely made it on the train before it pulled away from the station. Addie led Fred and George to the cabin when Ruby and Frankie were waiting for them. "You know if you guys actually showed up at a decent time you wouldn't have to scramble to get on the train." Said Frankie annoyed that this is a reoccurring thing every year. "Now Frankie my dear, What's the fun in that? Where's the rush of missing the train to school?" George replied smirking at her.
Addie finally got a second to breath after running onto the train. She hadn't even noticed how Fred looked. She hadn't seen him all summer. He was tan. His chest and arms filled out from playing so much Quidditch this summer. He was taller and his hair was longer and crazier than ever. "Do you not believe in haircuts Weasleys? Ron was looking a little scraggly too." Addie didn't want to admit that she liked Fred's long hair. It suits him. He looks so much more laid back and confident. Not that he needed anymore confidence. His ego was already high enough after last year, he and George were labeled
"HOGWARTS MOST DATEABLE MEN" and now all the girls at school wanted to date a Weasley. Even Ron got some attention.

"So Adelaide Stewart, how was your summer? You barely wrote me, I was starting to get worried." Fred looked at her with a glint of sadness when he said she didn't write. He wasn't wrong. "I barely wrote because I was taking care of my brothers all summer long. You knew that. My parents have decided to travel the world now that we're all in school, but instead of waiting till we left for school they went the start of the summer." She looked at Fred's face before looking down at her hands. "So I'm sorry I didn't write you guys, I was a little busy playing parent."
Addie missed her parents but she wasn't going to let that show. "Anyway my summer was super boring and Frankie and Ruby spent their summer on a beach in Italy so how was yours guys?" Addie looked to Fred and George. "Ours was the same" said George. "We basically played Quidditch all summer. Helped mum with yard work, worked on some new pranks for this year and the highlight of our summer was being able to go to the Quidditch World Cup, but you all know how that went." Said Fred quietly to himself.
"What happened exactly? We can only get so much information before the Ministry gets involved" said Frankie, looking at the boys begging for them to share.
"It was terrifying, honestly. We though that the Irish were cheering about their win but the next thing we knew dad was pushing us out of the tent and telling us to go somewhere safe."
"We had to grab Ginny and run. Dad stayed behind. We couldn't find Ron, Harry, or Hermione anywhere, we'd just hoped that they were safe."
Fred looked really somber before he opened his mouth again.
"The dark mark. It was in the sky. Death Eaters destroyed a lot of peoples campsites. I don't know what it means but it can't be good. This year is going to be different. I just know it."
The rest of the train ride they sat in silence. Addie got up towards the end to go check on Jude and Charlie. Fred followed so she wouldn't have to go alone. When they got close to the first years cabins Fred grabbed her arm and stopped her. He pulled her to the side of the corridor of the train. "Hey, I'm sorry I gave you a hard time about not writing, I knew you were busy I just missed you that's all." Fred leaned into Addie to give her a hug. "It's okay Freddie. I missed you too. I'm really sorry you had to deal with what happened at the Quidditch World Cup, if you want to talk more about it let me know." Addie let go of Fred and continued to walk down the hall to check on her brothers. Fred just stood there and watched her for a moment before George appeared. "So are you going to tell her you have feelings for her this year or what Fred?"
"I don't know, the timing just doesn't feel right yet. And I don't want things to be awkward if she doesn't like me back."

The train came to a stop and everyone made their way to the Castle in excitement for what's to come.
