As Addie stepped off the train she guided her youngest brothers to the left of the platform. Hagrid was waiting for all of the first years to gather around him. "This way first years! Too the docks! Let's go now! C'mon!"
Addie push the twins into the crowd before fixing Judes robes and squeezing his right arm. "I'll see you both in the castle for the sorting ceremony, alright?" She gave Charlie a quick nudge before Fred grabbed her by the wrist to take her to the carriages.
"Let's go Addie, they'll be fine." Fred said giving the twins a quick wink. "You're going to see them in a minute or two. We have to get to the carriages before they're all gone. I'm blaming you if we have to walk to the Castle."

Addie felt queasy leaving her younger brothers but she knew they'd be just fine with Hagrid leading them.
Addie and Fred were the last to leave the platform. Fred grabbed her hand as they walked toward the carriages. He laced his fingers in between hers swinging their arms back and forth. Addie felt a sudden rush of warmth fill her body when he touched her hand. They held hands before, the action wasn't new to her. Fred was always grabbing her and pulling her along with him when he would run off to pull pranks with George. This time holding hands with him felt different. She looked down at her hand placed inside of Fred's, his hands were rather large and rough to the touch. "Something wrong Ads?" Fred said in a whisper. She was caught off guard by the tone in his voice, it was rather sweet. "Oh, uh, no. Nothings wrong Freddie." She said with a slight smile "I'm just glad to have you as a friend." Fred's faced dropped at her words. "Friends... I'm just a friend" he thought. Fred still held tightly to Addies hand until they made it to the carriages.

The sight of the castle over the tree line was still Addies favorite part of coming back to school. Her heart raced every time at thought of her first year attending Hogwarts. Memories came flooding back of these past 4 years with her friends and family making her giddy and slightly tear up.

The Great Hall was always breathtaking with the bewitched ceiling and floating candles. Addie found her way to the Hufflepuff table and sat down between her friends. "Nice of you to finally join us." Frankie said with a slight attitude in her voice. Addie rolled her eyes and Dumbledore began the sorting ceremony. "We would like to welcome all the first years today and wish them good luck as they will be sorted into their houses. After the Sorting ceremony we will have more to discuss about the rest of the year!" Sometime passed as each student was called forward. "Jude Stewart!" McGonagall called out. Addie held her breath. The hat was placed gently on his head before, "HUFFLEPUFF!" The hat roared. Addie jump out of her seat screaming at the fact Jude would be joining her in Hufflepuff. Addie ran over to Jude and embraced him in a loving hug. She looked over to see Scotty standing up on his seat cheering for his younger brother as well! "Whoo! Way to go Jude!" Scotty shouted before sitting back down next to Ginny and Fred. She felt a sense of pride fill her body and she was nothing but excited for Jude. Addie quickly sat down in anticipation as Charlie sat down on the stool to be sorted. The hat was placed on Charlie's head and then nothing happened. Addie felt her jaw tightening, waiting to hear where the hat would place him. The Great Hall went completely silent, like they were trying to hear a feather hit the ground. Addie began to panic.
"Why is it taking so long? It didn't take this long for the hat to put Harry Potter in Gryffindor and he's the chosen one. Was something wrong?", she thought.

Tension was high in the Great Hall. Students and professors began whispering amongst one another in shock. Professor McGonagall turned to look to Dumbledore but he was hyper fixed on Charlie. McGonagall was just about to speak when the Sorting hat started to move. A whisper was released from the tattered brown hat, "Slytherin" it said softly. "What" said Charlie, "What did you say?"
The Hat spoke up, "Slytherin!"

Complete silence filled the room.

"That's impossible!" Said a young Slytherin girl.
"He's a mudblood!" Yelled Draco from his seat. "The Hat has gone mad! There's no way Stewart is a Slytherin" Draco continued.
