Today was the day that the students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons were supposed to come. Everyone was in high spirits including Fred. He spent all night with George and Ron trying to figure out how he could win back Addie. He thought that if he could try and get Scotty back on his side, then he could try to convince him to dislike Cedric as well. "Shit, Scotty wont talk to me and even if I do, he'll just go tell Addie that I was talking about her again." The twins paused for a moment thinking about what they could do. "I'd say we could prank Cedric, but if we do she'll just be pissed that we were messing with her boyfriend." Fred scratched his head, everything he thought of just would end up backfiring onto him.

6 o'clock hit and it was time for the welcoming feast. Everyone gathered in the Great Hall waiting for the other schools to join them. "I heard that Cedric was going to put his name in the drawing for champion" Fred over heard some students talking next to him at the table, his ears perked up. "Yeah and I also heard that his girlfriend wasn't too happy about it either." A lightbulb went off in his head. "Oi, George, if Cedric gets picked, then he wont be able to spend a lot of time with Addie, he'll be too busy preparing for the challenges." He gave a smirk at the idea of hanging out with Addie. He wasn't mad at her anymore, he just missed her. He missed cuddling up next to her in her twin sized bed, he missed her laugh, he missed holding her hand when she dragged him around.

The feast began and everyone was welcomed to the school. Dumbledore dressed all the students about the Triwizard Tournament. "Those who chose to enter the tournament have twenty- four hours to put their name into the Goblet of Fire. Tomorrow on Halloween night the three champions will be chosen." Everyone cheered and clapped at the announcement. George turned to Fred and whispered, "I think I know a way to enter our names into the tournament." Fred laughed and leaned in closer, listening to his brothers plan to get through the Age Line.

It was Saturday morning, Halloween, most students made their way to the Great Hall to enter their name or to watch other students put their name in. Addie walked down with Ruby and Frankie to join in the rest of the students. Scotty and the twins were already sitting at a table waiting for them to join. "Hey boys, how are you guys doing? Jude? Charlie?" Jude and Charlie were talking about their herbology lesson that they had together. "Jude was amazing Ads! He has such a great green thumb!" Charlie was bragging about his twins knack for herbology and Jude was just blushing, proud of himself. Scott was focusing on the Goblet of Fire. "So far only a bunch of guys from Durmstrang have entered their name." A sudden commotion rose behind them they could hear laughing slowly get louder. It was Fred, George and Lee running and giggling as they ran into the Great hall.

"We've done it!" Fred ran towards Harry, Ron and, Hermione. George and Lee closely followed. As Fred ran past Addie he gave her a quick wink, she couldn't help but blush, she had forgotten how charming he was. "Its an Aging Potion, just finished it this morning." George beamed, excited to put his name into the Goblet. "We only need to be a few months older so we'll each take a drop and then if either of our names get pulled, we'll split the thousand galleons three ways!" said Lee, smiling with the twins. Fred was the first to take a sip of the potion and George was next. They both stepped over the Age line cheering, thinking they just hoodwinked the system. Before anyone could blink the twins were launched back, their bodies hitting the floor behind them. Everyone started to laugh as thick white beards grew, covering their faces. The twins screamed tackling each other, wrestling and punching the other because the potion didn't work.

"I did tell you that you couldn't put your names in unless you were seventeen." Dumbledore laughed when she saw the boys white beards. "I suggest you go see Madam Pomfrey, and ask her to help get rid of those beards." They weren't the only ones who tried an aging potion that morning, a couple other students were already in the Hospital wing waiting to have their beards removed. Fred looked to George as they waited in line. "Heard Diggory put his name in early this morning, before anyone was even up, I don't think Addie knows." Fred looked at his brother in disbelief.

The day continued with people trickling in and putting their name into the Goblet. Addie got tired of waiting so she went out to the quidditch pitch. She liked to sit in the stands and read a book. No on bothered her when she was there, only the occasional group playing distracted her from reading. It was usually quite unlike the rest of the school. When she go to the pitch she walked up the stairs to the Hufflepuff side took a seat at the very back of the bleachers. She liked to be able to lean back on the wood behind her. She sat down and opened her book and started reading. The air was chilly but she didn't mind, she loved fall. Her favorite memory of fall was last year. She wanted to jump into a leave pile like when she was a little girl, she had told Fred and the very next day he managed to gather all the leaves he could and make her a giant leaf pile. She laid in the leaves with him for hours talking and laughing, he always knew how to make her feel like a little kid again.

A couple hour had passed and the sun was starting to set. They were about to announce the three champions, so she closed her book and started to walk down the stairs to the ground. She made it all the way to the bottom when she stopped in her tracks. The ground was covered in giant leaf piles spread out on the trail from the quidditch pitch back up to the castle. She looked around to see if anyone was around, but no one was there. She took a big step before jumping into the first pile, leaves flew around her as she landed belly down into the leaves. She couldn't stop herself from laughing and kicking each pile as she ran back to the Castle. Her hair and clothes were covered in crunched up leaves when she walked into the Great Hall where everyone was meeting. She ran to her table and plopped down next to Cedric and her friends.

"Addie, why are you covered in leaves?" said Cedric as he started to brush the leaves off her sweater and hair. "I just had the best time outside, there were leaf pies everywhere so I had to jump in them." She let out a little giggle, but it was cut short. "Leaf piles? Why would you waste your time doing that? Anyway they are about to announce who was chosen." Addie let out a small sigh as Cedric continued to wipe leaves away. When he was done he turned to talk to his friends about the tournament. She knew that he had entered but she didn't think much about it because so many people put their names it. She heard that Angelina Johnson had put her name in and she genuinely hoped that she would get chosen. Angelina was smart and such a good quidditch player, she could easily become the champion and win. She looked for Angelina at the Gryffindor table in hopes to give her a thumbs up for good luck. As she searched the table she scanned over each student but paused at Fred. He was looking at her and he was holding something in his hand. She squinted and gasped when she saw what it was. It was a leaf, he was twirling the stem between his fingers in a playful way. He gave her a soft smile before returning to his conversation with George. Fred had set up the leaf piles for her and her heart began to race, he remembered.

Dumbledore spoke out grabbing the students attention. Cedric grabbed Addie's hand squeezing it in anticipation. "It seems as though the Goblet has made its decision." The room went quiet. The flames coming from the Goblet of Fire turned red and a piece of paper was ejected out. Dumbledore reached his hand in the air to catch the parchment. "Viktor Krum!" He was the first name to be called, followed by Fleur Delacour. It was time to find out who the Hogwarts champion was. Everyone remained silent as the Goblet spit out the last name. It felt like they were waiting for hours before Dumbledore read who it was. "And the Hogwarts champion, Cedric Diggory!" The Hufflepuff table exploded with cheers and applause as Cedric grabbed Addie's face and kissed her on the lips in front of everyone. The cheers got louder when he left the table to join the other champions. Addie felt frozen. She couldn't move, the realization that Cedric was going to be competing almost made her throw up on the table. Everything felt dizzy and she couldn't breathe, she thought she was going to faint. Just as she was getting up to head to her dorm the Goblet of Fire turned red again and ne more paper flew out of it. Dumbledore caught in in the air and quietly read it to himself, "Harry Potter." He read it quietly before yelling it again. "HARRY POTTER!" The room erupted with nay-sayers and boos as Harry was pushed up by Hermione. He looked scared, he was only 14, people continued to boo at him until he joined the other champions  in a different room.

People were still talking about Harry being chosen but all Addie could think about was Cedric.
