"Taehyung! What the fuck?!"

Taehyung panted as he stopped running to catch his breath. His mind was wandering throughout the entire game. He just couldn't think straight. He wished that it was only his first fumble but it wasn't. Far from it. He can tell that if he made one more mistake that he would be taken off the pitch from the red and anger on his captain's face.

"Taehyung! What happened to you?! You haven't made a single goal and lost the ball like seven times! What happened?" Jackson yelled at the latter. Usually, he would never have the confidence to yell at Tae but he was so angry at his foolishness that Jackson was ready to bite his head off.

"I-I'm sorry I don't know-"

"Well fucking know and fix it! Are you blind? Do you wanna read the scoreboard-?"

"Jackson, calm down. Hyungie probably isn't feeling well." Jungkook interrupted, going over to Taehyung and rubbed his back in a friendly and loving way, trying his best to comfort Tae in case he did feel sick.

"I- I'm sorry, Jungkook... I just..."

"It's okay, we all make mistakes." Jungkook smiled, patting Tae's head but that just made Taehyung feel worse about himself. Almost like he was being degraded. He was being babied.

"I'm fine... I'll just try and shake it off." Taehyung told himself with a firm nod. The rest of his team left it at that. Although some were sceptical of his behaviour, Jungkook was acting like a paranoid mother and Jackson was just about ready to kill him.

The silver-haired boy took one glance up at the scoreboard, instantly he felt bile rise to the back of his throat. He didn't even know if it was possible to catch up. Five points ahead and they were in the final half. His knees were dirtied and cut with the amount of time he stumbled and fall. If it happens one more time he doesn't know if he will have the power to lift himself up.

"Five shots and we will be caught up." Taehyung tried to keep an optimistic outlook. He threw a gaze over towards where the cheerleaders stood by the sidelines and immediately blushed and turned away when he saw Jimin staring right at him. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed. "Great... now he's looking at me."

"Taehyung doesn't look well." Jimin muttered as he looked over to the boy walking hunched on the pitch. He looked miserable and nearly lifeless while doing what was his favorite thing. "I-I think he's sick..."

"He really sucks today." Taemin frowned, finding it hard to even watch. "He's butchering the sport, holy crap."

"Should I say something? Maybe to boost his confidence or something-"

"Don't. He was a jerk to you, there is no reason you should make him feel better. He can do it on his own." Taemin cursed. He was right, Jimin had no reason to sympathize with him but that didn't stop him from how he actually felt.

Jimin gasped when he saw how violently Taehyung's knee was bleeding. "H-he's really hurt..." Jimin was ready to walk over to him until he was held back by the wrist by Taemin who was giving him a disappointing look.

"Hyung... he looks so sad..." Jimin eyes widened when he saw Taehyung leave the pitch with a limp.

"Damn, he's getting swapped out."

Jimin pulled his wrist away from Taemin and marched over to the bench, grabbing a bottle in of water before heading to where Taehyung sat on the sidelines with his legs between his knees without another thought.

"Kim Taehyung." Jimin called out sweetly with an innocent smile that turned into a grown rather quickly when he got no reply, he didn't even move when hearing his voice. "I don't know much about football... but you did really well. I hope you feel better."
