The doctor approached them, thinking of how he would tell the news to them. Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.

"Good evening, may I talk to the patient's parents?"

"We want to know the news as well, doc," Madison demanded.

"We did everything we can possibly do..." the doctor started.

"But... she didn't survive..."

"I-I'm very sorry," malungkot na sabi ng doktor at bahagyang napayuko.

The news shocked everyone, especially Sabrina's grandparents and Eunice. Their eyes widened, couldn't believe that the news they had been waiting was miserable.

"I'm so sorry about the news. I know she's a strong lady, she's brave."

Later on, she just realized her tears falling down on her cheeks. It felt like she had been stabbed for multiple times when she heard the news, what more for Sabrina's grandparents? It hurts, it really does—knowing that her closest best friend won't be able to open her eyes again.

She didn't survive, a tragedy happened to her life. She never saw her family and never felt their love.

"Sabrina Harlow has been declared dead on arrival at exactly 6:40 p.m."

Eunice covered her mouth as she once heard that Sabrina was gone. She tried to cry silently, but she wasn't able to control her sob. Koeli immediately noticed Eunice. So, she went beside her and started comforting her friend. Before the doctor left, he told them to visit Sabrina's body anytime, but they need some time since bad news was reported to them.

"Sabrina... b-bakit?"

Nothing can be prevented nor avoided. Destiny and faith will let it happen no matter what.

They just lost their granddaughter. For how many years of taking care of her, they just got the news that she was no longer breathing, heart stopped beating, brain stopped functioning and her voice will never be heard again.
