"Okay, so where are we suppose to go then?"
I walked in the back of the airport with Kenny, Jack, and Jack. Sadly, we had to dodge the fans. There was like 40 girls waiting for us in the front, and we wanted to get Sammy as fast as possible, no waiting around.
"Back here." Kenny led us into the very back, outside, on the opposite end from where all the girls were. Soon enough we spotted Sammy and his luggage.
"Ayyye!!" He smiled and greeted all of us with that dumb, big, cute smile he always wore.
"There's so many girls out there." I said.
He nodded. "I saw a lot of them when I was walking here, I think one of them saw me."
Jack J shook his head. "Better not be any drama.."

The next day, we woke up at 9am and got ready for a day of boarding. I've been seeing some stuff on Twitter about all these Utah girls trying to find us, and it was kind of scaring me.
We're now in the board shop about an hour away from Park City, where the ski resort is. I picked a board out a while ago. It's black with cool abstract designs on it. Apparently a little more thought was required for the guys to pick out theirs, because it was taking forever.
"Alright, I found mine." Johnson held up a red board.
Kenny already had one in the car, and Jack has one too but he didn't bring it.
"Okay, me too." Jack held his up.
"You want me to get that for you?" Jack asked me, checking out the board.
I shot him a look. "It's 340 dollars. No."
"So?"
I furrowed my eyebrows, almost laughing at the question. Doesn't he realize that I make my own money? And a lot of it. Almost more than him, but that's going to change. Him and Jack's career will take off for sure.
"So I can pay for it."
He shrugged. "I didn't mean it in a bad way."
I nodded. "I know, thanks." I rested my board on the edge of the counter as the cashier scanned it, along with my snow gear, which is something I've never owned until now.
"690.00 is your total." He said. A year ago, I would've been appauled at that price. But today, I happily swiped my card, worry free. That's another reason why I love my job.
"Thanks." I smiled and grabbed my things, waiting for the boys.
My phone vibrated.
"Hello?" I held it up to my ear.
"Hey! What are you up to?" My mom spoke.
"Hey mom! We're getting snow gear then heading up to the resort."
"Oooh fun! So how do you think that's going to turn out? Are you going to go on the bunny slope first?"
I laughed. "Yeah, I might just go on the slope that the boys go on. If I'm lucky, I won't break a leg."
"Paige! You better be careful."
"I got it. Ava's cousin taught me how to skate when I was like 8, so it shouldn't be much different."
"Snow is different than cement." She laughed.
"Well I think I got it." I smiled.
"Speaking of Ava, her mom has something for you."
"What is it?"
"I'll give it to you when you come down. I haven't opened it. She said she might mail it today."
"Have her mail it here in Utah!" I suggested.
"Okay, I'll let her know. Text me the address in case that's what she wants to do."
I became curious. "Okay."
"Buuut, I called because we have wonderful news."
"You and dad?" I asked.
"YEAH." I heard him yell in the background, causing me to smile.
"Home Depot wants to sponsor us in a commercial of theirs! Apparently it makes a ton of money, because we'll be doing a series of campaigns as well."
"What?! Are you serious?!" I smiled through my words. "When?"
"In the upcoming months, most likely spring. We're going to be showing the yard in the commercial too- your dad is so excited about that."
"That is amazing! Congratulations. I knew your work would pay off."
I could hear her smile. "We're both excited."
"Ready?" Jack asked.
I nodded. He helped me grab my stuff.
"Okay, we're getting ready to leave now. I'm seriously so happy for you two, that's great."
"Thank you! Have fun!"
"I will. Love you!"
"Love you too. See ya." She hung up.
"What's going on?" Jack asked, walking outside.
"My parents get to be featured in a Home Depot campaign. Like a commercial."
"That's sweet!" He said.
"Yeah." I grinned.

An hour later, we were pulling into the resort. It was pretty packed, considering that the Sundance Film Festival would take place pretty soon.
"ARE YOU READAAAYY" Sammy hoped out and opened the trunk, getting hype with Kenny doing whatever the hell they were doing. Jack, Jack J, and I got out.
"This is doing to be so dope." Jack said.
Everyone is so excited and I'm still slightly nervous about heading down this giant hill.
We walked up into the resort and into a room where we could put our snow stuff on. It took me a while to get everything situated, and Jack had to help me with a couple things.
"Ready?" Jack asked us.
"Yeah." I stood up and grabbed my board.
"Yeeeeaahh boii!!" Sammy jumped to adjust his pants.
"Let us go to the tombstone lift." Jack J said in a weird accent.
"Yes, I agree with Johnson." Kenny copied the accent.
Jack glanced at me, knowing that I don't want him to say no just because of me. The tombstone lift is a little insane.
"Uh, Paige, you okay with that?"
Well considering I've never even boarded on snow, no. But I don't really want to hold back..
I shrugged. "Sure."
"No." Sammy shook his head. "I don't want you to break your neck."
I giggled, but quickly stopped because that'd probably happen.
"Yeah Paige, let's go on the bunny lift just once. All of us will go. I seriously haven't been on a bunny hill since I was younger, let's do it." Jack J suggested.
"I'm down with the bunny lift." Kenny smiled.
"Let's do it!" Jack grinned at me.
"Bunny lift? So like, a kiddie pool?" I asked.
They laughed and nodded.
"Don't worry, beginners start there all the time- no matter which age." Kenny said.
"Alright, let's just do it then."
