"So, what's going on?" I sat in one of the cushiony black chairs across from his desk. I had a Jack on each side of me.

"Well Paige, I know how well you've been doing here. You're one of our best A-list models, you have gained a large variety of fans, and people just seem to never get enough of you. I'm going to offer you something- a great opportunity- but I want those closest to you to have a little bit of approval."

I looked over at Jack and Jack. We all exchanged nervous glances.

"Okay.. Go on." I nodded.

"They have a company building down in London where the Victorias Secret models work. The platform is really nice, actually. They get a lot of time to themselves, they all have their own dressing rooms, they have their own hair and makeup people, and they don't come in very often. Which is why I thought you'd be absolutely perfect. Not only to the VS people want you, but I want you there as well. You could still be with LA Models, but you'd have to get a place in London. Part of that is what I can help with. I'm talking like 2 times a week you'd go into the building. You'd be making millions, as well as still being with us. You'd just work here whenever they give you breaks from being in London."

He gave me a chance to respond.

"W-well- would I have to be in London full time? I mean I can't just get up and leave because I'll be making more money.." I said.

"I'm saying that I'd help you find and buy a small place up there so that you could be there for like 2 weeks out of the month. They really don't do much work, just photoshoots for the magazines, commercial ads, and runways. It's just like us, but with more money and less work." He shrugged. "It's just a suggestion really. I want you to succeed in this business as much as possible. You know that Barbara does this too, right? You'd be with her."

Well of course I know that Barbara does this. She's offered for me to come with countless times but I've always been too nervous to leave Jack. It's like we have separation issues or something I swear.

"Yeah, but I'd have to be there for 2 weeks every month?" I asked.

"Yeah, that's minimum. You get like 2 months off for summer, I'm pretty sure." He stated.

"How do they even make money then?" I asked.

"Commercial companies and fashion runway venues pay millions and millions for you guys to be there. Victoria's doesn't ever make calls. If so, rarely. People that call the company are just looking to make money off the ads and shows, because everyone loves VS."

I sighed. "Could I go and see what it's like before I make any decisions?" I asked.

"Of course! I could get an appointment set up for you before you leave today." He said. He turned his attention to Jack and Jack. "The reason I wanted you guys to be here is just so you know what's going on. I don't expect you to state any opinion or anything." Don looked down through his glasses, making eye contact with both of them.

"Okay, that's fine." Jack nodded. Jack J did the same.

"So Paige, when would you like to visit?" He pulled out a binder from under his desk.

"Oh, I don't know. When are they available?" I asked.

"We could do April 15th or April 16th, if you'd like." He flipped through the pages.

"Uh, okay, April 16th. That sounds fine." I shrugged.

"Alright, I'll give them a call and see what I can do. Keep your phone on so I can give you a call here in the next couple hours." He said.

"Okay, I will. Is that all you had to discuss?"

"Yes, other than that, I won't need any of you guys to come in for work for the next couple weeks. We're having this place remodeled!" He laughed. I don't know why he wants to remodel it. It looks like it was built yesterday.

"Oh, really? Awesome. Okay! I'll watch out for your call." I stood up.

"Okay, thanks for stopping by." He smiled. "See you guys."

"See ya." We all said, almost in sync. We walked out of the building and into the parking lot.

"So.. London?" Jack looked at me.

"I guess so." I said, climbing into the car. It was Jack J's turn to drive.

We all shut our doors and set off to Nash's.

"Well, I don't know. I just don't know if I want to be gone for that long.." I looked out the window.

"Well, you'd be making millions more and you'd be a Victoria's Secret angel. That's huge." Jack J said.

"That's weird. My mom has a subscription to their magazines and she'd be seeing me on the front." I cringed.

Jack laughed. "I think it's a way cool opportunity. I'm just nervous that you'll be gone."

I sighed, and butterflies waved around in my stomach. "Why do they have to be in London? I thought they had a studio in LA. I don't want to live in London, not even for 2 weeks.."

"Well, you're visiting them in a few days. Just take some time to think about it and then make some judgments." Jack said.

"But you guys would be okay with me being gone?"

There was silence for a moment. Jack J looked at me, smiling. "No." He shook his head.

"I agree." Jack said. "But really, it's up to you babe."
