I sat on the stairs outside the entry gate, tossing the arcade credit card around.
"You're early." I heard as the card landed in my palm again I looked up to see her standing right in front of me. She was wearing a white long-sleeve bodysuit leaving both sides of her waist naked, with loose brown dress pants that still accentuated her waist. She had paired it with a brown purse that she was holding by a golden handle. And black Valentino Garavani's, with a gold accent. Golden hoops, a Dior bracket closed right next to a white watch, and a golden Tiffany necklace.
Her hair was slickly tied back, waving in the air as she came closer to me. "I'm not early you're late." she lifted her right hand up and looked at her watch, shaking her head. "I'm right on time. Look, 8 Pm." She shoved her wrist right into my face obliging me to look at the time myself.
I stood up from where I was sitting when she took a step backwards. "Let's go." I stuck my hand out in her direction, before she looked up at me with a confusing glare. "Is there supposed to be something there?"
"I was waiting for it to be your hand." she turned around making me drop my hand. "There's no one here, we don't have to be faking it."
"Who said anything about faking it." she rolled her eyes and passed next to me after telling me that I have completely lost my mind. I had a teasing smile plastered on my face
I followed after her to recharge the arcade credit that was in my card. I was ticking on the self-payout as Aria was standing right behind me, munching on her crisps. "Do you have no friends." she asked as my receipt was printing out. "I do, why do you ask?" I placed my credit card in my white polo track pants. "Can't you come to these places with your friends?" she asked. "I can."
"What's your goal?" I asked her, waving the arcade card in her face. "2500, I want that plushie." she said pointing right behind me. I turned around staring at the wall filled with prices. "A hello kitty plushie, really?" I faced her again, raising my eyebrows showing off my disappointment.
"Shouldn't have texted me instead of your 'friends'." She purposely put extra articulation in the word friend. I know it wasn't believable from her point of view, but I do have friends outside school, they're just quite...busy.
I mockingly nodded accepting her quest. I grabbed her hand despite her previous protest, and dragged her at the end of the arcade.
"Really? Super hanging on." she got her hand on my arcade card and swiped it across both bikes. She got on the bike, and dropped her purse right beside her. She looked back at me with a fierce glare and stuck out her head towards the bike next to her.
Letting out a slight chuckle I got on the bike. "Confident much, love?"
"Oh, you don't know what you got yourself into Alonzo Auclair."
"How the fuck do you know my full name." she rolled her eyes as she told me "It's hung on the school board."
"I knew your full name before you were ever the school face. See that's really impressive."
"You're not impressing no one." She scoffed as she let her weight fall to the right on the bike, to let her decide her team in the game.
The game counted down from 3 as we both had one hand on the bike handle and one on our boosters. As the noise of the game loudly yelled out 'GO!' we both harshly pulled on the booster. I landed on another booster putting greater distance between us. I could hear her scoff as she kept pulling the booster waiting for it to load up again. When she had accepted that the distance between us is far too much to be closed in this short time, she started pushing my bike to the right, wanting me to crash into something. Instead she was the one who bumped into biker number eleven.
