Army picked up the to-go bag he had and headed down the hall, and into Aloha's ward.
His fiancé was sitting up in the bed, luckily not hooked up to any scary looking machines other than the one used to track his heartbeat. The inkling smiled upon the sight of his lover. "Army!"
"Aloha you were just out for almost ten hours. You're aware of that, right?"
"....Wait, I was out?" Aloha asked, tilting his head. "Oh sweet. Cross that off the bucket list."
Army sighed. "Seems you didn't change...Well, are you hungry?"
Aloha nodded. "Starving, really. Got anything?"
Army held up the bag. "Lucia forced me to go along with her to get food. I saved you my fries."
"Yay!" Aloha smiled, and held out his hand. Army took the container of fries and gave it to Aloha, who promptly ate them in about 2 minutes. "You're the actual best, Army-"
"Oh, shush, love." The octoling took a seat next to Aloha's bed. "I'm just glad you're alright..."
