When Elijah walked into his home, he really shouldn't have been surprised to see a trail of bloodied paw-prints that led towards a pile of several bodies that were covered in various wolf and vampire bites. The paw prints then continued past the corpses as they led up the stairs towards the second floor where Elijah could hear his sister-law-laughing.

Isa was in a green lace underwear set that matched her eyes as she playfully wrestled with a big white wolf. Her bloody clothes had been discarded onto the floor whilst the wolf that was on top of her had patches of fur stained red as it dripped with blood. Isa paid no mind to Elijah's entrance as the wolf licked at her face and she laughed. It was her first carefree, laugh of pure joy in months.

"Sister," Elijah said by way of greeting as he also noted the dead couple that sat by the doorway.

The wolf relented in its actions as it seemed to growl at Elijah before Isa shushed the creature and moved it off her. "Elijah," she returned as she moved to lean against the foot of her bed. The wolf then stalked towards her before it rested next to her, placing its head in her lap as she began to stroke its first in all the right places as it let out a content breath.

"It is good to see you two back in your usual spirits," he remarked and Isa's face remained unamused.

"Yes, well, after last night's success in vanquishing the Guerrera wolves, we figured we deserve to celebrate a little. We also tried to locate the white oak stake and when the witches that tried to sacrifice our baby failed to do so, we ate them," she explained, nodding at the dead bodies by the door with a bit of a smile.

"And I see you proceed with your usual levels of subtlety."

"Do not speak with sarcasm to me, Elijah," Isa warned as she rubbed the spot behind the wolf's ear. "Everything that Nik and I do, we do it so that our daughter can come home. So, unless you're here to tell us that you've found the white oak stake or a way to vanquish your mother, I am not interested," she said before moving the wolf off her and heading toward the bathroom. She had disappeared from sight before her bra was tossed back onto the floor behind her and the sound of running water filled the air.

The wolf rose to its feet as it glanced at Elijah before it began to shift and change.

Niklaus rose to his full height, his body absent of any clothing as he smirked at his brother before he sashayed into the bathroom after Isa and pushed the door shut him.

Later that day, Elijah and Marcel had asked Davina for help finding the white oak stake. But when the young witch refused to perform a locator spell for them, they discovered that she already knew the location of the stake. As they dealt with that, Nik and Isa had gone on a little date down to the bayou to interrogate the few Guerrera wolves that had sought shelter there. Their date was fruitful because they had learned that the wolves were beginning to side with a witch named Cassie in exchange for moonlight rings. Just when they thought they were rid of the damn things.

And when Nik and Isa went to go and confront this Cassie, Isa hadn't been this angry since Genevieve but this moment was rapidly gaining traction to become first place for the angriest she'd ever been. And despite her anger, while facing the witch, she couldn't act on it. She couldn't act on it because it had taken her all of three sentences to figure out that the 16-year-old wasn't a 16-year-old after all, Cassie wasn't Cassie. Rather, she was a witch over the age of a thousand. She was Esther, alive and kicking yet again. And as much as Isa wanted to tear out her spleen with her teeth and feed it to her, Esther would most likely body-jump before Isa even laid a hand on her. The witch bitch was tricky like that.
