Though it had happened times before, Isa still got worried whenever Marcel told them that he'd been poisoned by a wolf bite. That just contributed to her pre-existing anxiety as she hadn't stopped pacing the entire time Davina and Kol performed a locator spell on Finn. Nik physically had to hold her in place because the sound of her panicked footsteps was distracting and not only did they have to find Finn, but they had to find what he was channelling so they could break the barrier spell on the compound and get Marcel some of Nik's blood.

Isa had been proven right when Davina and Kol discovered that Finn was channelling their parents in one of the Lafayette cemetery crypts. And they'd been about to march out of the church they'd sought sanctuary in when Nik fell unconscious onto the ground. There was seemingly no cause to his sudden nap as Isa ran over to him, but she didn't make it three steps before she was forced into slumber as well. Isa had fallen into Kol's arms before he collapsed too, Isa's head pillowed on his chest as Davina desperately tried to wake them all.
And they did wake, just not inside the church. The three of them woke inside the room of a wooden hunting cabin that was decorated with mounted animal heads atop five large armchairs.

"Niklaus, Isa," came a voice from behind them and they turned to see Elijah and Kol appearing to their left.

"This can't be good," Kol said as he sighed.

"What is this?" Elijah asked and Kol moved into the light to stare at the mounted heads.

"It's a Chambre de chasse. A hunt room," he explained.

"Where witches bring their prey for mental target practice? Our bodies are in the real world, but our minds are here, represented by the animal heads?" Isa asked as she tried to recall the definition she'd read.

Kol gave an approving smile. "That's exactly right, my darling Icy."

"Shall we hazard a guess as to who's the author of this nightmare?" Nik asked as his hand gripped Isa's. "Finn! Show yourself!" he yelled out and the door opened.

Finn waltzed through but no one could touch him, he brought them there and he controlled them so no one could run at him if they even tried. "This prison, is a lot more comfortable than the box you held me in for over 900 years," he spat at Nik.

"Oh, come on, that coffin had silk cushions," Isa pouted and Kol muffled a laugh as Elijah smiled.

"These heads are a nice touch," Nik said as he pointed to them. "Let me guess, I'm the big bad wolf. Isa is ever my loyal lioness. Kol, the wily fox. Elijah, the noble stag, and you fittingly enough are the boar. A bit obvious as far as symbolism goes."

"Well, Finn got one thing right, he is a bore, and I don't mean the animal," Isa said tiredly as she sat in Nik's chair, under the big bad wolf. Kol couldn't hide the laugh this time.

"Why are we here?" Nik asked, before he answered his own question. "Don't tell me, it's because of Mother?"

"Oh, it better not be," Isa chimed in as she lounged in her chair. "We didn't force her to drink blood, that was the choice she made all on her own."

"This isn't about Mother!" Finn yelled, veins in his neck tense with anger. "This is about all of you. This is about you knowing what it feels like to be powerless. So, after I take the city you've come to love so much, I'll come to take the thing you love most," he threatened as his gaze landed on Nik. "Your wife."

"Are we quite done here?" Elijah interrupted before Nik or Isa could lash out at Finn. "You will not touch Isa, Finn, and you will release us now."

"I will, at sundown," Finn agreed and Isa's grip on the armrests tightened as she waited to hear why he'd chosen sundown. "Because at sundown when all the marchers of Carillon Eve take to the streets, my barrier spell drops. Marcel and his hungry vampires will kill their way through the Quarter. And after their atrocities, the supernatural community of New Orleans will be forced to find a new place to call home."
