Isa let out a blood-curdling scream. Her stomach dropped. Her heart broke. Her breath was pulled out of her lungs. Her scream scratched her vocal cords. They were too late.

Isa screamed as she fell to her knees, tears clouding her eyes as she watched her brother burn. Nik, however, just stood frozen behind her, tears brimming his eyes as he watched his brother die, both ignoring the Gilbert's who looked at them in fear. It was one thing to be told someone you love has died; it was another thing to see it.

As Kol burned out, Isa stood, pure, undiluted rage coursing through her.

"What did you do?" Nik asked, he himself a mix of anger and grief.

"We didn't have a choice. He was trying to cut off Jeremy's arm!" Elena explained.

"LIES!" Isa screamed as she raged against the magical barrier that prevented her from entering without invitation. "You planned this! You planned to kill Kol just like you did Finn! You did this! You lying bitch!" Isa screamed as she cried.

"You said you were going to put him down too," Elena protested.

"On our own terms!" Nik raged, tears falling now. "Daggering him is nothing compared to shoving a stake through his heart," he growled.

Isa in the meanwhile had been surveying the walls, the stairs, the doors. "I'm going to burn this house to the ground." She looked at the Gilberts, her face tear-stained but emotionless.

"And when you try to flee for your pathetic little lives, I will kill you both without blinking," Nik finished.

"You kill us, and you'll never find the cure. You'll never be able to make more hybrids," Jeremy said as if words would save them now.

"The bloody hybrids never mattered. What matters is the fact that my baby brother is dead on the floor with a stake in his heart that you put there," Isa seethed in rage as she pushed as far as she could go through the door.

"We wanted the cure so we could destroy it. You lot were going to die the second we dug it up. But now, we get to watch you burn," Nik spat.

Isa looked at Elena. "If water didn't kill you, let's see if fire can." But before they could move, they fell to the ground in pain. Nik and Isa fell to their knees as they clutched their heads, their brain bursting as if someone had set off dynamite inside their skulls. And then Bonnie slid past them and into the house as she urged Jeremy to invite them in as she let up on her spell, giving them a small reprieve.

"Come in," Jeremy whispered, and it began.

Bonnie brought them more pain as she ordered the others to the living room before letting the couple go and running after her friends. Isa and Nik chased them through the living room, but before they could enter the kitchen, they were stopped by another invisible barrier. Nik raged against it while Isa just stopped, watching blankly as Jeremy pulled the white oak stake from Kol's body and headed for the door.

She couldn't look away from Kol's body. He was always the most lively out of all of them. He had this charisma and charm that made him so enchanting and fun to be around. He was a prodigy, the only child from their family to ever tap into their mother's magic before they were turned into vampires. He loved other cultures, especially witch cultures. He was actually very talented on the piano and he loved ice cream, he could eat tubs of the stuff and never get sick. He had a thousand years of life, of memories, of personality, and now it was reduced to a pile of ash on the floor. Isa couldn't look away from Kol's body.

"Witch," Nik spat through the barrier. "This little cage of yours won't hold forever. It only gives you a head start. I will hunt all of you to your end!" he screamed as they headed for the door. "DO YOU HEAR ME?! DO YOU?!"
