Ugh... FOCUS. Akemi kept having to shake her head to focus on Republic City rather than Kuvira. She was in fact tense like crazy. She just had to patiently wait for the right moment; the signal.

"Asami... Are you sure we can trust her?" The Avatar asked her friend as the team embarked on Oogie.
"Korra, you can't disappear for THREE years and then question every move I make! First my father, and now my cousin? Is there someone that I'm related to that you WON'T question?" Asami snapped back. SHE was also tense beyond belief, because she was relying on the word of someone she met just twice, and now everyone was relying on this plan Akemi had come up with. Asami certainly didn't want to admit any doubts she had and stress everyone out.

"Both Bolin and Zhu Li trust her. And so do I. I have a feeling, Korra, we have to listen to what she says. Besides, we've got Zhu Li's backup plan, if anything."

"Okay, ladies, enough barking and more EMbarking. Let's go, go, go!! We just have to double-check how far away she is first." Bolin interfered.

"Yeah, and we gotto get close to that spirit weapon and see if we can disable it somehow." Mako added.

"Remember, guys. Akemi told me that Kuvira was planning to attach it to some mega-large mecha suit. We'll have to spot it, and then fly in from behind to disable it without Kuvira spotting us."

The group nodded at Asami, and a simple yip yip had them on their way.

Kuvira slid the photo of her and her girlfriend back into the thin metal pocket that sat on the inside of her belt, and looked out into the distance. She could barely make out the nearest skyline of the United Republic.

"Akemi, is everything going according to plan?" Kuvira buzzed in.
Approaching the radio, Akemi reassured her lover, "All's well. I'm in the meeting room and Bataar's someplace else. How about you?"

Kuvira inhaled and closed her eyes. She was relieved to hear Akemi's voice, even though it had only been a few hours and no events took place.

"I'm good. I-..." She wanted to dote on her girlfriend a little, but the soldiers that sat in the operating room with her prevented her from doing that. "I'm good. Hoping to meet with you soon. I, um, I was wondering..." She glanced back at the soldiers in the room. They were snoozing and snoring. "I was wondering if you could meet me back on the 9th floor of the Four Elements once the negotiation's over."

Akemi flinched with surprise, "Oh.. Okay!? Sure, I'll be there. I... hope to meet with you soon, cOmMAndER... Ahem. Hopefully this whole thing will be over very soon..." the firebender tried to suavely flirt through the radio.

Knowing her all too well, Kuvira tried to muffle out the radio's output as Akemi continued, so that the soldiers wouldn't hear anything, "I'm winking at you - through the radio - you know... Hehe... Eheheh... Kuviiiiiir-" And Akemi hung up before she could begin her song.

"Instead of winking through the radio, how about you brief me on what you're gonna say, exactly, Miss Ikedo." Bataar interrupted his leader's assistant.

"It's General Ikedo, to you, sir. Take a seat." She spun around.

"General? I see." He rolled his eyes, knowing all too well that Akemi was making that up.

"GUYS... That doesn't look like a mega mecha to me... It looks like a SUPER ULTRA MEGA GIANT mecha..." Bolin frantically panicked, "ASAMI!!! Didn't Akemi happen to specify its HEIGHT?!"

"Uh, NO, Bolin... If she did I would have TOLD you all. Why is everyone doubting me today?!"

"Doesn't matter... She's already crossed into United Republic territory, she's a week early!!" Korra exclaimed.
