"Sawsaw mo sa vinegar."
I mimicked his move and swirled the stick with Isaw. "Ang anghang!" I immediately drank my water bottle while Lukal held my cup.
"Sorry, our cups got mixed. You can have mine, it's still untouched." Binigay niya ito sa'kin.
Pinanood niya muna ako bago siya kumain. My eyes widened at the taste. Masarap pala!
I chewed quickly and swallowed, "Ang sarap! Ba't ngayon ko lang natikman 'to?"
"Why though." He asks while we sit on a nearby bench.
"Hindi naman kasi ako lumalabas 'non." I finished another stick.
I saw Lukal not eating his food, "Gusto mo ba ng isaw? Ba't 'di ka kumakain?"
"I do. Don't worry about me, worry about you not having any Isaw anymore."
"Aww," ngumuso akong nang matantong ubos ko na pala isaw ko.
"Here." I gasped when he pulled a cup with three isaw sticks out of nowhere.
"Wah, thank you!" Nginitian ko siya bago masayang kumain ulit.
"Don't you have to go home?" He asked after finishing his food.
"Do you want me to go home now?" I asked back.
He looked away and coughed, "Well everyone's going home. Is nobody going to fetch you?"
"Mmm... Ay, oo nga noh?" May sundo nga pala ako.
"Let's go, I'll walk you there." He grabbed my bag while I'm still busy eating.
"You walk for me," I grunted with laziness.
"What, you want me to carry you?" He looked back at me with the straps of my bag hanging over his shoulders.
I sighed, "Can you?"
I heard him chuckle lowly behind me.
"Wait!"
