"Bitch!" I heard being called through the flat. Clearly, Dylan had just watched the video too.
"Hello?" I called out back, sitting up in my bed, waiting for him to burst through the door at any moment.
"You looked...so good!" He shouted, launching himself onto my bed. "And, you are trending! You are literally trending!" He shouted, showing my his phone, which was on the Twitter explore page.
"Hold up...since when did you have Twitter?" I asked, completely blanking the fact he had just told me I was trending.
"Since you got famous," he replied quickly. "But that's not the point! Did you not just hear what I said?"
"No, I didn't. What did you say?"
"I said you're trending in the UK!" He repeated, his face full of excitement.
"I'm what? You're lying, and it's mean."
"I'm not! Literally look!" He shoved his phone under my nose, and sure enough at the bottom of the page was my twitter handle, trending alongside wroetoshaw.
"Why the fuck am I trending?" I asked, feeling a little shaky. Surely if I was trending, it was for a negative reason, right?
"People are - what's the word...shipping you with Harry," he said slowly.
Oh god. He was bound to feel so uncomfortable with that, wasn't he? This whole thing would be ruined before it had properly started.
"Fuck sake," I said quietly. I needed to message him.
"What was that?" Dylan asked, and I knew he was trying to be nice but I couldn't deal with his questions right now.
"Nothing, nothing. I've got to do something quickly...uh, would you mind?" I asked, raising an eyebrow to make it obvious I meant I wanted to be alone.
"Yeah, course. You'll let me know if you need anything, though. Right?"
"Of course I will!" I tell him, watching him leave the room. As soon as I was alone I was on Twitter, typing out a quick message to Harry. If he would even see it, that was.
