As soon as Pike and his guards walked past the small storage closet, Aura motioned for Miller and Abby to follow her. She quickly but silently opened the steel door and slipped out with the two behind her, and quickly walked in the direction that Pike had come from.
Eventually they found Octavia and the prisoners climbing out of the small hatch in the floor, and Aura moved straight towards Sinclair to remove his cuffs as Abby moved towards Kane.
"I told you not to do this," Kane muttered as Abby worked to get rid of the metal around his wrists.
"Come on Kane," Aura said, turning towards Kane after throwing a rifle towards Octavia. "You didn't think we'd let that hell demon kill you did you?"
"OKS, come in." Harper's voice crackled through the radio urgently.
"This wasn't the plan," Octavia revealed with a frown, bringing the radio close to her face. "We use their frequency so they can hear us. Go ahead." She spoke into the radio.
"Stay where you are," The other girl whispered, "repeat, stay where you are. The exit is not clear."
The group hesitantly looked at each, a look of worry on their features. "How many guards?"
"Too many. I said stay put." Harper ordered again.
Suddenly, a new voice crackled through the walkie much to everyone's surprise. "The prisoners are at the main gate. I repeat, the prisoners are at the main gate."
"That was Monty." Octavia revealed in confusion.
"I guess he's on our side after all."
"Can we trust him?" Aura questioned as the other shrugged slightly.
"What we do know is that we've got to go." Everyone nodded in agreement and followed the doctor out of the bunk room with their weapons raised, including Aurelia, who had gone back to using her handgun for convenience.
The group met up with Harper in the corridor, where one of the panels was slid out of the way so they could escape without using the main exits.
"Emergency lockdown is in effect," a voice spoke over the speakers. "Effective immediately."
"Quick, quick!" Aura ushered as everyone climbed through the wall one by one.
