"We need to leave right now." Finn stated, addressing the campers who were starting to crowd around. "All of us do." Aura furrowed her eyebrows, she could see the fear in his eyes as he spoke. "There's an army of grounders coming. Unlike anything we've ever seen and we need to pack what we can and run."
"Like hell we do." Bellamy firmly responded, standing tall with his arms folded in front of him. "We knew this was coming."
"Bell we're not prepared." Octavia countered, taking Finn's side.
He gave her a fed up look, having had enough of his sister debating his every word. "They're not here yet. We still have time to get ready."
Aura nervously shifted her weight on both feet, torn between both sides. "Where would we go?" She finally questioned, as Finn turned his head towards her. She gestured towards the sheets of metal and wood surrounding the camp. "These walls are the only defence we have right now."
"There's an ocean to the east." Finn revealed, turning towards the crowd of unsure kids. "The people there will help us."
"You saw Lincoln." Octavia said with realisation, relief flooding on her features, and Finn nodded in response.
"You expect us to trust a grounder? This is our home now!" Bellamy exclaimed, addressing all the delinquents. "We built this with our bare hands. Our dead are buried beyond that wall in this ground. Our ground! They think they can take that away? They think that because we came from the sky we don't belong here." He started to walk around, his voice raising in volume with every word. " They're yet to realise one very important fact. We're on the ground now, which means we are grounders." The camp cheered in response.
"Grounders with guns!" Someone exclaimed from the back.
"Damn right!" Bellamy exclaimed in response, turning to face them. "I say let em come."
"Bellamy's right." Clarke spoke up, walking to stand next to the tall boy. "If we leave, we may not find a place as safe as this. And god knows, in this world, we could be faced with something even worse tomorrow. But that doesn't change the simple fact, that if we stay here, we'll die tonight." Bellamy whipped his head towards the blonde, not having expected those words to leave her mouth. "So pack your things, take what you can carry. Now!"
The crowd dispersed as everyone rushed to pack whatever they needed. Finn walked over to Aurelia and handed her a bow and a quiver full of arrows. "What's this?" She questioned, running her hand down the curve of the bow with a small smile.
