Somehow, they actually made it. Well, most of them made it. Two of the kids had attempted to spacewalk in Zero G conditions, but unfortunately for them, the effects of gravity kicked in earlier than expected, slamming the two kids straight into the wall and instantly killing them.
As the hum of the dropship started to settle, everyone began to unbuckle their belts one by one, all eager to get a glimpse of the outside world. As everyone fought to get to the main door, Aurelia stayed behind, fidgeting with the uncomfortable bit of metal around her wrist.
"Stop," a voice rang out. "The air could be toxic!" The voice belonged to a blonde girl, who was shoving her way through the crowd to get closer to the door.
"If the air is toxic, we're all dead anyway," a tall boy retorted, whose hand was on the lever.
"Bellamy?" Octavia spoke up from beside Aurelia. The younger girl pushed her way through the crowd and went barrelling into the boy's arms. A huge smile lit up on his face as he embraced her tightly, one arm clutching her head close to his chest.
"My god, look how big you are." he breathed out, his cold demeanor slowly dissipating.
"What the hell are you wearing?" the girl questioned as she pulled away from him. "A guard's uniform?"
"I borrowed it to get on the dropship. Someone has to keep an eye on you." He responded with a smile.
"Where's your wristband?" The blonde girl questioned, staring at the boy with a suspicious gaze. Octavia turned away from her brother and shot a glare in her direction.
"Do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a year." Aurelia widened her eyes as she stared at the siblings. The similarity in looks, the way they embraced each other. It makes sense as to why Octavia had assumed that Aurelia would have heard about her.
"That's Octavia Blake!" a random voice piped up from the side of the room. "The girl they found hidden under the floor!" The younger Blake went to lunge at the kid, but was held back by her brother.
"Octavia!" the boy exclaimed as she thrashed in his arms. "Let's give them something else to remember," he suggested, attempting to calm her down. The girl turned to look at him with curiosity in her eyes. "Let's make you the first person on the ground in one hundred years."
There was a large groan from the dropship as Bellamy pulled the lever, and then the door slowly opened to reveal the earth in all its glory. Aurelia inched towards the door slightly, taking in the beautiful view surrounding them. Somehow, it was way better than anything she could have ever imagined. The trees stood tall, the leaves were in different mesmerising shades of green.
As Octavia slowly descended down the ramp, the air is completely silent, aside from the wind whistling through trees. No one knew what to say, or what to even expect. "We're back bitches!" Octavia yelled suddenly, completely destroying the silence. This invited a series of shouts and whoops from the rest of the delinquents, as everyone started to pile out of the dropship and run around like lunatics. Who cares. They were the first people to set foot back on earth.
As Aurelia looked up to the sky, a pair of arms enveloped the girl, completely taking her by surprise and almost sending her to the fall. She realised that it was Octavia, who had a large beam on her face as she hugged the girl.
"Isn't it amazing!" the girl exclaimed, before leaving as quickly as she had come. Aurelia let a large smile grow on her face as she watched the girl run after her brother. She didn't expect to even be alive at this point, nut she's glad she is. She has the chance to experience something she never expected in her wildest dreams, and she also made a friend along the way.
"Happy Birthday to me," Aura murmured to herself as she walked through the trees, her hand trailing against the bark of the trees, taking in the beautiful views and smells.

Whenever I read these fics I just want the oc and love interest to end up together quickly, but it's probably way more interesting to kinda wait it out before they get involved romantically. It's probably not true to Bellamy's character to have a romantic relationship this early either.
