Several whippings and punches later, the grounder still hadn't opened his mouth. His whole body was covered in bruises and cuts caused by the belt, but he was resistant.
The hatch suddenly burst open, a frustrated Raven pushing her way onto the third level. "What the hell is taking so long? He stopped breathing."
Clarke widened her eyes in worry. "What?"
"He started again, but he might not next time."
The blonde ran her hands down her face anxiously. "He's not telling us anything."
Raven's eyes surveyed the room slowly, then rushed towards a panel in the wall beside the grounder. She aggressively pulled out two wires causing sparks to fly.
"What are you doing?" Bellamy asked, slowly rising up from where he was sitting. Raven didn't answer for a moment, fiddling with the two wires. She touched the two wires together causing more sparks to fall.
"I'm showing him something new." Before anyone can protest, she shoved the wires onto the grounder's body, causing him to seize and cry out in pain. "Which one is it?" she screamed. "Come on!" When he didn't respond she shocked him again. "Please he's all I have." She cried out, tears rolling down her face.
"Stop it!" Octavia screamed, standing up and moving towards Raven. "No more!"
Raven glared at her. "He's letting Finn die!"
Octavia grabbed the poisoned knife and dragged it across her arm, allowing the blood to drip down.
"Octavia no!" Her brother shouted, but it was too late. The poison was now in her bloodstream.
Octavia kept her eyes locked on the grounder. "He won't let me die." Bellamy tried to reach towards her, but she pushed past him and knelt down in front of the grounder. "Is it this one?" She asks, using the knife to point at one of the vials.
At first he didn't respond, but he slowly shook his head as Octavia pleaded. Eventually, he nodded when Octavia pointed at the last vial. She quickly placed the vial into Clarke's hand who moved towards the hatch.
"Wait, give it to Aurelia first." Bellamy called out. Clarke faltered for second, but carried on going down the ladder.
"I'll be as quick as I can." She called out, rushing to save Finn first. Bellamy scoffed, but didn't say anything else.
