When Aurelia finally opened her eyes, they were met with the sight of wooden beams climbing across the ceiling, tightly held together by thick rope. The back of her head throbbed slightly, but she was more concerned by the fact she didn’t know where she was. The girl quickly sat up, realising she was laying on some kind of cot, and her attention fell to the bottom half of her right leg, which was covered in some sort of mossy green paste. There seemed to be a slight numbing pain in her leg, but it didn’t seem too bad. She winced as she massaged the back of her head slightly, trying to remember what had happened.

The sound of lively chat and upbeat music still filled the corridors leading up to the dining room. Aurelia rolled her eyes and walked through the door leading to the staircase, and walked up the stairs two steps at a time, rushing towards the floor that she had hidden on months ago. Maybe there she would feel some peace. As she moved towards the familiar residence, she realised the door was slightly open, with a sliver of light falling through the crack. She marched towards the door in anger and aggressively opened the door, finding a young couple sitting and laughing on the sofa.

“Get the hell out,” Aura ordered with a severe tone, watching as the boy’s face morphed into a confused expression.

“Pike said we can take-”

“Get out, before I pin your head to the door as a warning to others.” she threatens with a low voice, watching as the two scrambled out the door with a terrified look on their faces. She moved over to the bookshelf and grabbed a marker, then walked out of the room and slammed the door behind her.

‘DO NOT ENTER.’ she wrote in large letters on the door, before stepping back and staring at the sign. She moved towards it again, adding an extra ‘or I’ll turn you into target practice.’ She made sure to sign it off with her name in large letters to make sure people would get the message.

This encounter had made the girl so mad, that she ended up doing target practice outside the walls of the bunker, firing arrows over and over again at a poor tree. She didn’t know how long she spent outside, but as soon as she started to walk back towards the side entrance of the bunker, the entire structure exploded, the sheer energy sending the girl flying to the floor and completely knocking her out.

Oh you’re awake!” a voice spoke, causing the girl to jump and snap her head up.

Where am I?!” Aurelia exclaims, getting off the cot in a panic. As soon as she put weight on her right leg, she let out a gasp of pain, forcing her to sit back down. The tall woman rushed towards her, exclaiming “no” over and over as she propped Aurelia’s injured leg back up onto the bed. The woman continued to fire sentences at her in Trig, but Aurelia’s limited knowledge of the language can only get her so far. “I’m sorry, I only know a little Trig,” the girl mentions whilst gritting her teeth, the pain traveling up her right leg in waves.
