"Okay, the first wave is small." Pike began as Octavia and Aurelia readied themselves. "We do this your brother's way. We let them in. We take them down. We tie them up. Clear?"
Neither of the girls responded, and instead focused their eyes on the balcony that would reveal the climbing soldiers at any given moment.
As the first man jumped onto their floor, Aurelia heard Pike cry out in pain from behind her. As she turned to see what had happened, she found the man clutching onto his bleeding knee, and Octavia holding her bloodied sword as she stared at him with hatred.
"Octavia what are you doing!" Aura exclaimed in alarm as she turned towards the grounder, who rushed towards her with an animalistic battle cry.
More grounders appeared over the balcony as Aurelia punched the one in front of her. After several attempts, she slammed the butt of her pistol into the back of his head and watched for a brief second as he collapsed to the floor.
She turned in alarm and found several grounders kicking Pike in various places, and saw that Octavia was standing to the side, making no attempt to help the man.
"Octavia!" Aurelia exclaimed causing the younger to turn towards her. "Help him! We need to secure the room!" she ordered as more grounders rushed towards her with teeth bared. The much larger man slammed her head against the wall catching her off guard, temporarily making her head spin.
"Son of a bitch," she muttered as she winced slightly, raising her hands to wrap them around his neck and cut off his oxygen.
"O! What are you doing!" A familiar voice exclaimed.
Aurelia jumped in shock as the sound of a gun went off and the man standing in front of her dropped dead, a bullet wound in the side of his skull. She breathed heavily as she turned her head to find Bellamy.
A couple more shots went off as he killed the grounders who were attacking Pike in the other corner.
"Come on. Can you stand?" Bellamy questioned as he rushed towards the older man and pulled him to his feet.
"She cut me!" He exclaimed as he groaned in pain.
"No need to snitch Pike," Aurelia muttered.
"Come on we gotta go!"
Aura began to usher Octavia out the door as more and more grounders began to appear over the balcony.
