A little while later

Maia:(cleaning her gun making it shiny)

Laura:(sighs)

Ross:(looks at her and touches her hand just barely with his finger)

Laura:(looks at him)

Ross:(whispers) I'm sorry

Laura:(sighs whispering back) I'm sorry too

Maia: Alright! I'll be at the bathroom! Don't do anything stupid! (walks out of the room)

Laura:(tears up) Ross this is the end of all of this. Maia's gonna kill us and she's gonna win

Ross: No she isn't

Laura: Ross, she killed my dad (tears up more) If she can do that then she can kill us

Ross: Laura I'm so sorry about your dad but we're not gonna join him, well not just yet

Laura: How? We're tied up and everyone already left

Ross: Speed dial 911 Laur

Laura: I'll see if I can (keeps boucning on her chair) I got it!

speaker: 911, what's your emergency?

Ross: Help. We've been held at Mariano high school in our gym teacher's office, help us

Laura: She's gonna kill us (tears up)

speaker: Everything will be fine, the police are on their way now

Ross: But you have to tell them to keep quiet because when she hears them then she's just gonna fire on us

speaker: Will do, don't worry kids, you'll be safe soon (hangs up)

Laura: What now?

Ross: Now we just wait and hope for a miracle

Laura:(Sighs) If this is the end--

Ross: Laura it won't

Laura: If it is though, I just want to tell you that I love you

Ross:(smiles) I love you too Laura

Laura:(sighs) I guess I won't be able to go to college, get married or have a family of my own

Ross: Laura

Laura:(looks at him)

Ross: If this is the end of us, I have something to ask you

Laura: What are--

Ross: It was suppose to be after graduation but I guess now works too. Will you marry me?

Laura:(gasps) What?

Ross: Laura Marie Marano, from the moment you walked through Mr. Todds classroom, it was love at first sight for me and hopefully for you too. I want to be with you together, I want to have a family with you, I want to have a life with you, I want us to grow old together

Laura:(Smiles a bit)

Ross: I love you Laura and I'm just praying that we get out of here alive and let us have a future together

Laura:(smiles) Yes

Ross: What?

Laura:(nods) Yes Ross, I'll marry you

Ross:(smiles) I love you

Laura: I love you--

Maia:(walks in and locks the door and sitting back at coach's desk)

Ross: Wait a minute.... what did you do with coach?

Maia: I pretended to be the principal and tell him that he had the day off

Laura: I can't believe he fell for that, the principal never gives anyone a day off just like that

Maia: Well he's stupid, duh

Ross: What are you gonna do with Cassie?

Maia:(looks at her and shrugs) Don't know, this was never the plan but I guess I'll make another grave

Laura: A-Another?

Maia:(smirks) One for you, one for Ross and now I got to call mom and ask her to make--

Laura: Mom's in this?!

Maia:(smirks bigger) Oh yeah, another surprise I forgot to tell you

Laura:(looks down tearing up) I can't believe this

Maia: Well believe it sister

Ross: You're not gonna get away with this

Maia: Oh really? I killed dad already, I got mom to go on my side and help me kill you two, I got you two tied up here and there's no one to help you. So what hope do you have now?

police:(kick the door open and shoot Maia)

Maia:(Falls to the floor)

Soon a lot of police walk in also the principal.

police:(untie Ross and Laura)

Ross:(hugs Laura tightly kissing her forehead)

Laura:(cries into his chest)

Principal: Ross, Laura, are you okay?

Ross: We're fine

police: There's an ambulance there just to make sure you guys are alright

Ross:(nods)

police: We should start with this girl first

Laura:(taking quick breathes)

Ross: Calm down Laura, it's alright

police:(put Cassie's lifeless body in a body bag taking it away)

Principal: Come on guys, lets get you out of here

Ross: Thank you sir

Principal:(nods) Come on now kids (walks away with Ross and Laura)

Maia:(still alive and grabs her gun and shoots it)

Ross:(grunts in pain and falls to the floor)

Laura:(Gasps) Ross!

police:(shoot Maia)

Maia:(dead)

Police:(take the gun away and put it in a bag and take Maia's body in a body bag and walk out)

Principal: I'll get the paramedics! (runs off)

Laura:(kneels next to Ross holding his hand and cries) Ross

Ross: Laura...

Laura: Y-Yes?

Ross: Grab a box from my jacket p-pocket

Laura:(does so and sees a tiny box)

Ross: Open it

Laura:(opens it) The ring

Ross:(smiles a bit)

Laura:(puts it on) Thank you Ross (kisses him)

Ross:(gets a spasm) Ah!

Laura:(jumps back) You're gonna be alright

Ross:(nods and shuts his eyes tightly)

Laura: Ross stay with me, alright

principal and the paramedics:(runs up to them)

paramedics:(pick up Ross and put him on a gurney and push him out of the school)

Principal: It's gonna be alright Laura, come on now

Laura:(stands up wiping her tears away and walks with the Principal) (looks at her ring and tears fall out) (whispers) Please be okay Ross
