Laura: Mom

Ellen:(looks at her)

Laura: I... I heard everything

Ellen: Oh honey

Laura:(tears up walking over to her hugging her)

Ellen:(hugs back) Don't let her get to you sweetie

Laura: But mom, she's gonna leave us if she doesn't get Ross

Ellen: She's crazy honey, don't listen to her

Laura: It's to late mom. I can't stop thinking about it

Ellen: Well whatever you do don't say anything to the Lynch family especially Ross

Laura: Why?

Ellen: They're gonna tell Ross and Ross just got you back, I don't want him to have more drama. He cried Laur, he thought he lost you for good in that fire

Laura: Oh

Ellen: Don't tell him or them anything, okay. It can just be our little secret

Laura:(nods) Okay but I never keep stuff from Ross

Ellen: Just this one secret please Laura, please

Laura:(sighs) Fine mom, just between us

Ellen: Thank you sweetie (kisses her forehead)

Laura: Yeah, I better get back in Ross's lap before he wakes up

Ellen: Okay

Laura:(gets up waking over to Ross and sits on his lap)

Ross:(wakes up) Hmm

Laura: Hey sweetie (kisses his cheek)

Ross: You already woke up?

Laura: I just did actually

Ross:(looks at her) Were you crying? (wipes her tears away)

Laura: Was I? Oh I haven't noticed

Ross: Are you okay?

Laura:(nods) Yeah

Ross: Okay (hugs her tightly)

Laura:(cuddles up to him thinking about something)

Ross: I love you Laura

Laura:(tears up) I love you too

Ross:(kisses her forehead and goes back to sleep)

Laura:(looks at Ellen)

Ellen:(gives her a pleading look)

Laura:(sighs and falls asleep)

A few hours later

Laura:(on the plane watching a romance movie)

Ross:(looks at her and taps her shoulder)

Laura:(looks at him)

Ross: What are you watching?

Laura: Just a romance movie of a girl who fell in love with a boy but had to leave him for an important reason but then find eachother again after years of not being together

Ross: Interesting, mind if I listen?

Laura:(nods and passes him an ear plug)

Ross:(watches the movie with her)

Laura:(pretends to watch the movie but thinks about what Maia and her mom said)

Few weeks have past and Laura has not said a word to about the conversation she over heard with Maia & Ellen but the guilt is just eating her alive inside. She can't take it anymore. She had some close calls with her almost breaking out and telling everyone but she's been keeping it but trust me, it isn't easy for her. She hasn't been hanging out with Ross that much or else she'll tell him everything. She even saw Maia in her room looking through apartments on her laptop.

Laura:(curled up on her bed thinking)

Ellen:(walks in) Laura

Laura:(looks at her)

Ellen: Ross is here to see you

Laura:(eyes widen) No! Tell him I'm not here

Ellen: A little to late for that now sweetie, he's downstairs

Laura:(sighs) Okay

Ellen:(nods and walks out)

Laura:(gets up looking at herself in the mirror freshening up and walks downstairs)

Ross:(holding a bouquet of flowers and a present) (looks at Laura and smiles walking up to her)

Laura:(smiles weakly) Hey

Ross: I'm sorry

Laura:(confused) Your sorry? Sorry for what?

Ross: Well you seem distant and I wasn't sure if it was something that I did

Laura: You didn't do anything Ross

Ross:(sighs in relief) Oh thank god

Laura:(giggles)

Ross: Then what's up?

Laura: What?

Ross: Why haven't you been hanging out with me as much anymore?

Laura: Oh um.... it's just something

Ross: No, tell me

Laura: I'm just not feeling well, that's all

Ross: Well you could've told me that. Dr. Lynch is here at your service

Laura:(giggles)

Ross: Now let's get you upstairs in bed where you should be (lifts her up and carries her up to her room laying her on the bed)

Laura:(smiles) Thank you Dr. Lynch

Ross: Now stay put while I go make you some noodle soup. And by noodle soup I mean those one's in the cardboard bowls. And by make, I mean putting boiling water in it

Laura:(laughs)

Ross:(kisses her forehead and puts the stuff down going downstairs)

A few minutes later

Ross:(walks back up with the soup) Here we go (puts it on the night stand)

Laura:(looks at the present) Ross, what's in the box?

Ross:(smiles) You wanna open it?

Laura:(smiles) Yes please

Ross:(chuckles and hands her the box) Here we go gorgeous

Laura:(opens the box and gasps) Oh wow (sees a ruby red heart shaped locket)

Ross:(smiles) You like it?

Laura: I love it

Ross: Open it

Laura:(opens it and sees a picture of her and Ross together) (smiles) Ross this is beautiful

Ross: One more thing. Look at the back

Laura:(looks and sees an engraving "Love you like Romeo loves Juliet") (smiles) It's a love engraving of our favourite movie

Ross:(smiles) I know

Laura: Ross I love it, thank you (peck kisses his lips)

Ross:(smiles) Want me to put it on you?

Laura:(nods) Yes please

Ross:(takes it and puts it on her)

Laura:(smiles)

Ross: Where's your promise ring?

Laura: It's in my jewelry box

Ross:(stands up walking over to it grabbing it and puts it on Laura's finger) Promise to love me always?

Laura:(takes a deep breathe) Promise

Ross:(smiles and hugs her)

Laura:(hugs back thinking of everything that's happening)

Ross:(pulls away) Laura you okay? Your heart is beating really fast and hard

Laura: Oh um.... bc it's beating for you

Ross:(smiles) Awe (hugs her again)

Laura:(hugs back nuzzling up to his shoulder thinking)
